Quality capo
If you don't want to read my narrative below, I'll start with a summary:-Pros:-i) Keeps guitar in tune better when in use than most of the others I have;ii) Sturdy build;iii) Unobtrusive and compact - gets less in the way of your fingers when using the lowest fret nearest the capo;iv) Minimal string rattle and maintains a reasonable tone, again in contrast to some capos I have;v) Doesn't seem to damage the finish on the guitar;vi) Very easy to use - just squeeze to put it on and use the release catch to remove.Cons:-i) Far more expensive than any other capo I've bought!ii) Can't be operated with one hand.#iii) Probably pretty easy to lose!I've owned many types of capo over the years. I've never been a huge fan of using them and would generally prefer to learn a song in a different key so it could be played without the capo and thus keep the bass notes as low as possible. This has not been much of an option for me lately, as I've been performing songs at a local pub and forced out of my comfort zone by having to sing the songs I'm playing, myself! I haven't had much time in between appearances and therefore found it useful to just use a capo so I can sing the song in question and make it manageable in my limited vocal range (when in the past I've been lucky enough to have proper vocalists to accompany and just played in the original keys). It has saved me having to re-learn songs in another key. I am not a good enough guitarist to just change keys on the fly.Until recently, I didn't realise that all capos are essentially not made equal! I know that it's often helpful to tune your guitar with the capo on rather than off, but didn't realise that some, like this one, are better at keeping everything in tune.It is very easy to put on and remove. It doesn't get in the way of certain chord shapes played at the nut-end of the neck as much as other capos I have. My Shubb is also very compact and similarly unobtrusive. I have a number of trigger capos and some of them can get in the way. This was considerably more expensive than the capos I've bought in the past, but as I've been regularly playing and singing of late, I thought it was worth splurging for the improved tone, minimal string rattle and maintaining as much accuracy of tuning as possible.Recommended if you're willing to part with the cash!

Recipient very happy
I bought this as a gift for a friend who had asked for a capo for their birthday, I did a bit of research, and that was when I realised that guitars need different types types of capos.Although you can buy some for much less money this one seemed to be one that could fit any guitar. My friend has demonstrated the ease of use the fit is perfect and it can be moved easily with the quick release mechanism. There are no parts that stick out and get in the way and they are so happy with it and they said it is real quality and they would highly recommend it. A very good gift indeed!

Nice product, but pricey
Solid and well built, easy to use but very expensive for what it does... doesn't do anything more than a cheaper alternative product

Simple to use and a great piece of industrial design
Not just a great capo - a design classic with a free lifetime warranty. In an interview with the designer/company owner, he recalls taking an early version to a round table meeting and someone picking it up while others were talking and saying "this is really nice... what is it"?A firm squeeze on the open jaw and it's capoed and set where it needs to be. A pinch on the knob on the heel of the capo and it's open again. Super intuitive, low profile, very secure. Easily set from the top or bottom of the neck, depending on your preference. I've tried it across 4 guitars (electrics and acoustics, from slim to moderate C profile) and absolutely no issues.

Will never have anything else.
The g7th performance 3 is an excellent bit of kit.Straight out of the box it's very easy to get to grips with. The mechanism is very intuitive and easy to use. The adaptive radius technology seems to work perfectly, no string buzz at all. Most importantly I would like to highlight how good this capo is at keeping the guitar in tune. Never have I had a capo that has managed to capo up to the 9th fret and the guitar still be in tune. It truly is a masterful piece of engineering.OK now the (supposed) downside. It is on the expensive side in the capo market. But in everything you get what you pay for. If you have multiple guitars it will work on all of them, at gigs less time is wasted having to retune every time you move the capo, the most innovative design for years, the list goes on for reasons why this isn't really that expensive.

Great Capo
Needed a capo saw this, read the reviews and agree that this is a very well-made item that's easy to use and seems to mold itself on different shaped necks. It does exactly what I need it to do so 5 stars.

Versatile with many guitars, easy to put on and keeps tuning
Very impressed with this capo. I've used it on a range of my acoustic guitars; from a 3/4 Yamaha APXT2 to a J200 super-jumbo. Very easy to clip on and it keeps the tuning stable. Takes a little getting used to if you've only used spring loaded capos before but once you are used to it that, it works like a charm.

Easy on, easy off. Works equally well on all my electrics and acoustics
Title really says it all. This is a sleek, low profle tool that quietly and effectively gets the job done. I am really pleased with it. I will probably buy another to keep in the case 'cause I can see this growing legs if left unattended.

Awesome - adaptive radius
This capo is amazing and well worth the price. Unobtrusive and easy to set, as noted by other reviews. What others failed to mention is that the capo has an adaptive radius. I use it on a nylon classical with almost a flat fingerboard, as well as a vintage Strat with a 9 inch radius. The safe the hassle of having to keep track of multiple capos for different guitars. Great device. Highly recommended from a guy with 40+ years experience.
