For very small audience
This is not what I was expecting at all. But first the good stuff. It's a nice size, weight, and format with stiff pages that make it nice to pack in a camera bag.cons:This is not for any experienced Nikon user. It's very basic, and poorly explained. Any new user would be much better served by simply spending 30 minutes reviewing the user manual. It doesn't even cover back-button auto-focus. It wastes far too much space talking about photography basics (shutter speed, ISO, and aperture) rather than helping a user with this specific camera.I doubt any of the positive reviews actually looked through the content, but were simply impressed with the packaging. I would not suggest this for anyone outside a bare basics primer on photography.

D500 Quick Handy Guide
This guide is fairly basic, if you are an experienced photographer its probably not worth the money. However, its a sturdy, well written guide with recommended settings and tips for various genre that I found as a good review/reminder. It shows all the camera buttons ,dials and screens which after more than a year I sometimes forget and basic shooting techniques. It also has a very useful pre-shoot checklist and is easy to carry. For what it is, its well worth the cost.

A USEFUL POCKET GUIDE FOR NOT MUCH MONEY
I've reached the age where remembering what all the different functions, buttons and other doo-dahs that a modern digital camera has can get confusing. Enter the Nikon D500: Pocket Guide: Buttons, Dials, Settings, Modes, and Shooting Tips. This useful little guide clearly lays out what all the buttons are for using colour diagrams and photographs and is handily laid out in a logical format, starting with the parts of the camera, then on to variuos functions and finally to shooting tips. Quite simply put this is a brilliant guide for my Nikon D500 for not much money. Highly recommended.

Very pocketable
Very basic information and probably only useful as an aide-memoire.All the 34 pages are thick card, so durable. The pages are tabbed at the bottom but I’m not convinced of the usefulness. As far as finding which control or button does what, it works but after a while you will probably recall 90% of this without prompting so it’s not a long term thing.Worthwhile only if you get it very cheaply as it’s not there for the long haul.

It’s ok. Not quite what I hoped for.
It’s ok. Not quite what I hoped for, does not cover low light (but wouldn’t cover everything I suppose), and the button labels are not very helpful (nor could a guide this size explain everything anyway). Maybe my expectations are too high, maybe my existing knowledge is higher than I thought but I hoped this would act as a useful reference for functions / settings ...... it doesn’t do it for me (but I have read various books from cover to cover so it’s possible my expectations were unreasonable). Expensive for a few cards bound together.

Really handy small pocket guide
This pocket guide is really well laid out and crammed full of easy to follow information, it is sturdily made with card pages so will not become ‘dog eared’ and should last a long time! Really excellent value for money.

Excellent aide memoire
Bought this on the off chance that it might help me learn to sort out some of my features on my camera…it’s amazing!Caveat is that it doesn’t cover every possible thing - but more than enough to be able to help you take photos on a camera that I’ve never used before.Previously used Cannon and Sony but got a great price on a Nikon so went with it and all the stuff was new to me, this little pocket book has been a great help navigating the features.
