This dress far exceeded my expectations - especially for the price! I got the green one because I was drawn to it for some reason. (I normally don’t like green.) I am happy that I did; it is a gorgeous deep forest green that you normally don’t see on anyone. I wore it to a Halloween party and was the only flapper there, but I would imagine that this color would stand out at a theme party as well.It’s well-made; I had no issues with loose or lost beads. The fit was fantastic, but the dress felt stretchy, comfortable, and secure. The only thing to beware of is, as others have mentioned, that the actual fabric hem is short (so that the long fringe hem hits at the right length). I am 5’3”, and I don’t recommend bending over too far for that reason. (The fringe hit just below the knee.) As a practical matter, be careful that your fringe doesn’t get caught in your undergarments if you use the restroom. (I was able to catch that issue before leaving, but I’d hate for someone else not to!)I’m looking for an excuse to wear this again!

I must say I LOVE this dress. The only issue I have is I listened to too many of the other purchasers advice and ordered a size larger. If you think you wear a Large, ORDER A LARGE lol.That being said, the quality of this dress is MUCH higher than the price tells you. I ordered this dress last minute for a NYE party and was complimented all evening. I got the dress in the Champagne color and it was beautiful! I was worried about the dress being see-through as it was a little while on the hanger. This was a quick fix by wearing a nude color cami underneath and it was cold outside so I have on black pantyhose. NO see-through issues for me!If you are concerned with the sizing, take your own measurements with a tape measure, write them down, and compare them to the size chart. I am top heavy, with a slimmer waist, with a bigger rear end, and muscular thighs, so I was worried about the large not fitting and I listened to other buyers lol. Other reviewers are very helpful, so thank you all for that! In my case, ordering the XL was a mistake, as the XL was too big, but it was very comfortable. If you want a more form fitting fit, measure and order your normal size. If you want it a bit looser, and not showing off your shape, go a size larger.I got this dress in 2 days and was very happy with that. I highly recommend buying a dress from this company!!

This dress was for a roaring 20’s gala and was perfect! I was surprised by the quality and the fit! Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a Great Gatsby style dress!

I ordered a small and a medium. The small actually fits really well. Although it's more of a snuggle fit then what I would've liked. I thought 20s dresses were supposed to be a loose fit, but this is not as loose as what I hoped for. However the medium is definitely too large for me. I'm 5'3" and 120 pounds. This feels more like a costume than a real 1920s dress (like the ones they wear in Downton Abbey). Sadly I don't think you can find real quality 1920s dresses. This is good value for the money. I ordered another dress at $58. This is actually better quality at $35, so don't be fooled by the price.

Excellent dress!!! Beautiful! Well made! Has a little stretch! And oh so gosh darn comfortable!!!!! Jewelry is beautiful and well made! The only thing I couldn’t wear are the elbow length gloves … I have abnormally long fingers and they simply didn’t fit!

This dress won! I bought about 10 from Amazon, in various styles and sizes, for a 1920s themed New Years party. I bought this one in size Medium. I am 5'7", pear-shaped, and approx 125 lbs. This dress hid all the bad spots of my body, and looked fantastic. The beading and sequins were lovely, and although fragile (as these details usually are), they held up wonderfully all night long. I hope I have many more occasions to wear this dress.For all the failures I'm about to list, I still highly recommend this dress! I'm just being thorough.It was a tad too low-cut at the chest. I'm a size B, so maybe it'll fit more busty women very well. It almost hung off the tips of my shoulders a bit strangely, but obviously that wasn't a deterrent. Generally, it wasn't form-fitting, and it wasn't too loose.Now, it should be noted that I was attempting to get an accurate-to-period fit, which is more loose than a modern fit. So, do keep that in mind. But, I also didn't want to look frumpy. If you want a modern fit, buy a size smaller (Small, in this case).The fringe hangs below my knees, and is in two layers (which I feel added a lot to the look), but the red lining only goes to my lower thigh. Keep that in mind when you're sitting! Cross those legs at the ankles... The materials were not stiff, and gave while in the process of sitting or rising. Last, but not least, the zipper was a necessity for getting this on and off! Luckily, I was able to _carefully_ get it on and off by stepping into it (I had my hair done hours before).

I’m 5’1 and 115lbs If a dress has give to it I can fit an xs comfortably, but if it has no give like this one then it fits but is kinda baggy. (There’s a lot of beads so I expected no give) I was really excited to receive this dress because it looked so beautiful in the pictures. I was a little disappointed the color wasn’t the same as in the picture but it’s supposed to be a vintage dress so I went along with it. Then as I was inspecting it I noticed there were a couple loose beads which I just cut off no one would notice. But then when I actually put it on for the party I notice a chunk under the arm was falling off which made me upset considering the price. By the end of the nice a lot of the fringe string had fallen off the bottom of the dress. I’m still giving it 3 stars because I loved it but for the price of this dress It shouldnt be falling apart before I even wear it or as I’m wearing it. ( It was a casual 20’s themed New Years party where we were just chatting and hanging out no dancing was even involved)

Lovely dress for a 1920 function. Looks well made although I have not worn it yet. Good fit true to measurement size. I am a size 12 but ordered a 14 once I had checked the measurements. Not too long I am 5ft 4 ins and the fringe is mid calf so if you want it shorter buy the smaller sizes like other people have suggested.

This dress I bought for a 1920s night and honestly for the price the quality is fantastic, the beading looks brilliant and it's very comfortable due to the inner lining being soft. It's a little loose around the middle but that is actually 1920s style so not unhappy with it. I'm a size 10-12 and I got a small because the medium was far too big around the middle. The garment has a little bit of stretch so I'd say M is a 12-14. Overall very happy with the dress and the green colour is gorgeous. Plus the returns are free so you can order both sizes to make sure you get the right one.
