This is a great filter, very high quality. It is extremely quiet and powerful for an internal filter. It makes cleaning very easy with the magnets for the filter media. I would strongly recommend upgrading the filter media though, as the stock is 3 sponge and one carbon slots. After upgrading mine, it has the power of a canister filter and the water is crystal clear. Here is how to upgrade: - Slot 1 (bottom): leave one of the stock filter sponges in (mechanical filter) - Slot 2: fill with Bio beads like Fluval BioMax for internal filters (Bio media) - Slot 3: bottom half with BioMedia again and on top water polish pad, like Fluval water polish (Bio and mechanical) - Slot 4: Replace the carbon sponge with Purigen, this is the best chemical filter and it will remove all the tint form the water. (chemical filter). This will ensure your filter is top notch and your water will always be clean and balanced.

I have 2 of these. 1 in my 55g and the other in my 20g, size appropriate, of course. I am very pleased with the heater and filter. The added plus is you don't have to worry about heater burns on your fish!

Heater unit arrived with temp controls apart. Can't get it calibrated, and shouldn't HAVE TO.

Installed the BioPlus Thermo 100 in my 30‑gallon aquarium and it’s been fantastic. Filtration is strong, the built‑in heater holds temperature perfectly, and the whole unit runs almost silently.

I used to have a Whisper 40i in a 29g tank. No complaints there either. However, this was purchased for a Aqueon 54 corner tank. I have to say I never expected it to perform so well! I've had it for a few years now (pandemic hobby), and so far I've had one minor problem and the company didn't hesitate to send a full replacement unit. I've had to start over recently with new plants and fish but nothing else needed replacement, not even this filter. It's easy to clean doesn't require expensive replacement filters (just rinse and reuse). Aside from being very quiet it is also hardly noticeable. Highly recommend!

I had this closer to the top of the tank to help oxygenate but the thermostat must be in the top because if the water drops a quarter inch, it stops heating. May not be great for fry or shrimp but no experience. Could add some sponge in the side intake vents to make it better

I tried this filter since I like the biomaster filter I have on my larger aquarium. I love that you can have the heater in the filter as well. Got the 200 per the chart on their store page that states it as good for a heavily planted 20 gallon tank with medium to high fish bioload. Have two critiques: one is it is very large. Had to dig the gravel out of the corner so this fit low enough. Second is the output flow is very high. My 20 gallon has a betta, he was spinning in circles. All the plants were waving in the flow. The two flow options they have (single and spread) were both too strong. I had to put the output directly in between so the flow was lower and went out both areas. Overall though this is very nice and compact filter. Again I love that it comes with a heater added to it. If you have a betta or fish that needs low flow you may need to make adjustments, my plants were not enough to buffer it.

Works great I have it turned down for a 37 gallon tank. I love that the heater is inside this unit so there are not two separate things in the tank. It does take up more space than I thought. This cleans the tank will and is quiet

We love our Oase system big or small. This one is smaller version easy to clean and maintained. Great for aquariums! Wont be disappointed. This model for up to 50 gallons Mine here is 30 gallon.

It works wonderful but the grinding noise that come from the heater gets very annoying with time. Contacted seller, seller sent me to company, wanted then had the answer that it was normal…. Does a good job tho but if you are looking for something very quiet, don’t get with the heater in, the filtrer itself is very quiet!
