Not what it appeared to be...
With 4 busy kids running in and out of the kitchen constantly dirtying a new cup every time they wanted a drink, I had HAD IT. These color coded drinking glasses appeared to be just what I needed. Each kid gets a color, that is their glass. Nobody else uses it. They drink out of the same glass all day. Momma does less dishes. They were lovely on arrival. Well made, 10oz volume, and a good weight. I loved the colors! I thought the glass was color tinted within the base. NOPE! After the 2nd washing, the color (which was externally applied!) Started flaking and peeling off! So much for individual color coded glasses. Disappointed. I may try to re-paint them myself. :(
