My beloved Vans had been sitting in a closet and were INFESTED with stains from the mould. When I tried to wash them off, the dark paint from the front of the shoe bled into all the white fabric and they looked even worse. I bought this paint and a set of brushes with not much hope that it would work but, guess what, they look brand new! The process took about a day where I would paint it over once, leave it to air dry and do another layer, to a total of three layers of paint (used just under half of this pot). The paint dries surprisingly fast too! Afterwards, I sprayed the shoes with Nikwax (waterproof coating) and I can now use them again!
