The product is a little fragile meaning if you aren't slow and careful with it, I can see how it could fall apart easily. I overtightened the screws at one point and it caused the whole unit to pop apart and I had to start back over on installing it. I found as long as I don't overtighten the screws and then if I don't turn it quickly, it works as designed. It would be nice if there was a bit higher priced version that was a bit sturdier and not all plastic. As far as using the product once its installed, it works perfectly.
