Spigen Neo Hybrid Designed for Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus Case (2019) - Burgundy

I have used this case for exactly one year and the plastic piece broke. I decided to buy this case again. The protection it provides against drop damage is fantastic. I do drop my phone a lot, mostly indoors, but I have had two very hard drops on concrete from waist level. In both instances, the phone landed hard on a corner. I thought for sure that there would be at least a crack in the glass. But the phone was perfectly fine. There was some damage to the case, but who cares? The case does not interfere with the factory installed screen protector. The buttons protrude from the case making them easy to find. The buttons also provide a very good tactile bounce and feel. As for style, the case looks pretty good overall. It's not too bulky. I'm not too picky about how a case looks as long as it does not look incredibly ugly. The only problem with the case is that the plastic piece will eventually break. I remove the case every few weeks to clean both the case and the phone. Every time I remove it, the plastic piece has to stretch a tiny bit, which puts stress on it, leading to an eventual break. I wish that Spigen would not have such narrow areas on the plastic piece. A few other Spigen cases with two pieces actually have wider plastic pieces (such as the Tough Armor). I'm willing to accept this flaw for excellent shock protection. Overall this case provides great protection by combining the benefits of a hard plastic case (which tends to stay on the phone better but doesn't offer great protection) and a soft rubber case (which offers great protection but has trouble staying on this phone) in a pretty stylish package.

Recieved the case 2 days ago. Opened it up and first thought was it is not going to last long, seemed slippery like I have read and slipped more than I liked. However, that seems to have been the only time I've really had any "issues". The case fits perfectly with the phone, it's been quite easy to adjust top the material and have better control over it (to avoid slipping), I can slide my thumb onto the screen from any direction and the case is comfortably there, secure and not on the way of performing actions on my phone. It seems to be a great quality, I want to say a mixture of a plastic and rubber for the main areas and on the outer edge, around the camera area and bottom seems to be like a classy, lightweight aluminum that fits nicely right in with the design. I also like the texture design on the back of the case. Overall at this point after nearly 2 full days of using it, I love it for what it is.

This is my third Spigen Neo Hybrid case, but my first for the Galaxy series (my previous two phones were Google Pixels). I was very happy with my previous two Spigen cases, which were almost identical to each other, but this one has a slightly different feel to it. I don't know whether the different feel is because this case is for a different phone or if it's because Spigen made some changes to the Neo Hybrid line. In any event, I am overall satisfied with the case, but the different grip is taking some adjustment. As far as fit, this case fits the phone perfectly. It is snug enough to feel secure but not so tight that it is difficult to get on and off. The charging port and other ports on the bottom of the phone are still easily accessible, and the power/volume/Bixby buttons on the sides of the phone remain easy to operate beneath the soft rubber covers. Aside from some small aesthetic differences, the main difference I notice between this Neo Hybrid and the previous models is that this one is more difficult for me to grip securely. I say "for me" because a lot will depend on how you hold your phone. I tend to "grip" my phone largely by the sides, and that's exactly where this case is different from its predecessors: the plastic along the edges is smoother than on previous Neo Hybrids, so I have to be conscious of this so the phone doesn't slip from my hands. I'm sure after a month or so I will have adjusted to the new feel, but it's definitely worth knowing about. Some things I really like about this Spigen case: 1) It looks cool! Okay, so this is subjective and a matter of personal preference, but _I_ happen to like the look of this case. 2) It does NOT interfere with screen protectors. The S10+ comes with a screen protector already installed, and so far I have left that one in place because I like the feel of it, and this case doesn't interfere with it at all. 3) It provides a decent amount of grip when you are holding the phone, but it is smooth enough to be able to slide in and out of pockets easily. 4) It gives a good level of protection for "everyday" use. I wouldn't trust this case if you work on a construction site, for example, or in any setting where the phone may get dropped occasionally. But for most people this case will give great protection without being too bulky. Overall I'm quite happy with this case, but I'm considering purchasing one of the other Spigen Hybrid cases to see if it may provide slightly better grip on the edges.

If you want a black, slim, stylish case... Get this one. I broke my old 9+ because I dropped it. I decided for my 10+ I'd get a case finally, so I did. The textured back with the ridges compliments the shiny plastic edges really well as far as gripping the phone. I hold my phone very loosely by letting it rest on one hand's fingers. Changing grip to just the edges in order to put it away or take it out of my pocket is always very secure because the smooth plastic edges allow for your fingers' natural oils to actually grip it. The back is the opposite, where it slides very smoothly. The buttons work just fine with only a slight increase in pressure needed to push them. The softer matte plastic or silicone bordering the screen compliments the phone and its curved display very well by having 2 and 3 beveled edges that catch light enough to show some attention to detail. It looks very modern and edgy because of this. After a few months, there are NO scratches in my case despite dropping the phone a few times and setting it down on rough surfaces at work regularly. Overall, the case has held up very well and it greatly exceeded my expectation for the price. Hope this helps!

I will put some pictures, I hope they are clear. First of all I want to leave clear that I am a pretty clumsy dude. I had a OnePlus One and I had to change the LCD 3 times! (2 of them my fault and 1 my kid xD ), then I got the OnePlus Two with the OtterBox Case and after a ton of drops it was fine. I got this S10+ and I don't know what happen to me that I "thought" that it would be OK with an slim cover.. silly me.... well it dropped and guess what? broken front glass... at least it still works, no sharp parts. Then I saw this cover and I really liked how it looks and how it is not that slim, but still sturdy I am getting a tempered in a few days installed . Now to the cover... it feels pretty sturdy, great feel while holding it, not heavy and still leave room for a good tempered glass to be there on top of the screen. Ohhh and the edges on top/bottom feel good and you can see how it will never allow your phone to get in touch with the desk

This is a quality case and appears to be sturdy enough to protect your phone. It is not slippery and is easy to hold. For a short time. When I used it for a longer time, my hand began feeling uncomfortable and tired. I switched to another, probably less protective case that is much more comfortable to hold. It is not much slimmer, but that little difference in width makes all the difference in how comfortable it feels. At least, for me. (And I do not have small hands.)

Not Pop Socket friendly I gave the case 5 stars. For the likes I mentioned above. I suspect wireless power share will be finicky with nearly every case. It already requires near exact placement of my ear buds without a case. With a case it's a bit more touchy but it does work. People complaining about it not fitting must have ordered the wrong case or received the wrong case. The s10 and s10+ cases fit like a glove. I have one of each. Pop sockets will eventually fail, and if you have read my review a few times you will see that I originally posted that the pop socket I had failed right away. Afterwards I thought I may have received a faulty pop socket as my s10+ with the same case didn't fail. As of yesterday with 2 new pop sockets and 2 wks of use, they are both starting to come off. *** Edit 3/12/2019 *** Pop socket works just fine. The first one I tried must have been defected. ***Edit 3/25/19*** The pop socket on my s10 and s10+ with the same case is starting to come off. It does appear that the pop sockets will fail on these cases after some time.

Win I got my s10+ I needed a great case for protection . Well I was impressed with neo hybrid case . The case fits the s10+ really good and looks great and feels really Premium . The case is not slippery but not very grippy has a soft fell to it the angled ribs in the back gives the case extra gripping and is comfortable in the hands specially if you right-handed . The otter plastic brace is thin and could easily break if u are not careful win taking it off and on .. Overall it's a good case good quality but be careful with the ottor plastic brace could easily break

El diseño le gustó mucho a mi esposa. Es bonito y sencillo pero se ve muy elegante. Le da un toque muy personal a su S10+ Siempre compro para mis equipo protectores de la marca Spigen, son muy bonitos, bien hechos y sobre todo, muy resistentes a caídas y demas. En mi experiencia, esta es la mejor marca de protectores para celular ,sin duda alguna.

Como siempre los productos de spigen son de buena calidad. Colores vivos y que resisten el paso del tiempo. Muy facil de colocar y dan un ajuste y agarre óptimo, protege muy bien
