All the recipes I have cooked so far have come from this book. The recipes are so easy to follow, the ingredients aren't hard to get hold of and once cooked the food tastes amazing. Having been the type of person who would just rotate the same 20 odd meals over the week, I'm now cooking something different everyday. I love looking through the book and picking my dinners for the week and writing down all the ingredients I'm going to need. I've even taken the book with me to the supermarket and planned my meals while walking through the aisles. Biggest pros- +Recipes are made for 1 person servings, perfect if you live alone. If you're cooking for more than one (which i usually am), you just need to times the ingredients by how many people you are feeding. Its so easy!! +Instructions are so easy to follow, even for someone who has never cooked from a cookbook before. +I'm no longer eating boring bland food!! +I've lost 11lbs since cooking all my main meals from this book!!! (and of course being vegan overall) cons - Uses terms like a handful of, a pinch of and a generous glug of. I'd much prefer specific measurements when it comes to amount of ingredients to use. Love this book!

Love this book! Have made 4 or 5 recipes in this book so far and they've all been really easy and delicious.

Great
This is a fab vegan recipe book! I've bought quite a few and a lot are fiddly with expensive ingredients but this book is the opposite, normal ingredients and really tasty meals that are easy to make. My only issue is all the recipes are for one so I have to alter the ingredient amount to cater for more people, it's not just as simple as doubling up or x3 etc as that doesn't seem to work. I guess it's just a case of trial and error with the measurements but it is worth the effort as the meals are so good.

Simple, convenient cooking
This is a great book. I've probably tried around half the recipes in the month since I got this book. They've all tasted fantastic (I'm not actually vegan, or even vegetarian, though my diet is mostly vegetarian). They're mostly 20 mins or so to make (maybe less if you're efficient, I'm not) and simple cooking using ingredients that are easy to get hold of and use up. I often find with cookbooks that some ingredients are hard to use up outside of the recipe I'm following - there's none of that with this. And because the recipes are straightforward, I've found it much easier than usual to adapt recipes depending on what I've got in stock. Big recommendation from me if you want to make tasty food quickly and without much fuss.

Whilst there are some delicious looking recipes in this book, there weren't as many I wanted to try as in previous £1 meal books I've read. Also there seemed to be quite a few recipes with courgette, aubergine, gnocchi or tofu in which I'm not at all keen on. Oh well.

Great on the pocket, the environment and your diet!
Tasty and easy to prepare meals that are gentle on the pocket. This book is great as it proves not only that you can be cautious with the cost of your meals and be tasty, but also helps to dispel the myth that vegan food would be tasteless. Great book, great concept and I hope many more people will give it a go as it is win, win, whichever way you look at it! Save money, better for the environment, your health and tasty as hell!

This makes week night cooking accessible while also healthy. Add a few more spices than officially part of the recipe and we have a go to cook book that covers the whole week with culturally diverse, and satiating meals.

Ce livre est plein de recettes bon marché pour un alimentation équilibré. Pour rester pas chère, c'est surtout des légumes, pâtes, riz et légumineuses qui sont utilisés. Vous trouverez pas des recettes contenant des ingrédients onéreuses; levure malté, seitan etc. Mais il y a un bon choix de plats basiques et gouteux pour les recettes de tous les jours, et vous utiliserai un autre livre de recettes végan pour les recettes plus recherchés lors des fêtes. Un bon addition à mes livres de recettes végans.

Best vegan cookbook ever. Tasty fast meals made with a few simple ingredients including real plants. If only I’d found this cookbook years ago I would never have had to buy any other cookbook. Buy this, and get one for a friend too.
