Autobiography of Swami Sivananda

This gave me a different look at Swami Sivananda ... most of the writing is not the same as his other works. It is inspiring. He seems to be both an intellectual and spiritual master and at the same time has the joyfulness and sweetness of a child. This book led me on a search for the book of Vedanta that inspired him ...."The Identity of Soul and God - Secrets of Vedanta" (English title). It's not available on Amazon, but I did track down a source in Bangalore.

I was surprised as it is not what one would expect of an autobiography, especially when one has read others such as autobiography of a Yogi by PY. Instead of centering around his life Swami Sivananda has made it a valuable spiritual book one can open anytime to find the right encouragement or help along the way.It is unexpected, but not disappointing.Thank you!

Here we can learn how a Master lives, his choises, criteria, specific didactic dor each student and many other things that make this book an inspiration on how can one dedicate his/her life do self-realization. Deeply grateful.

I found this little book to be rich with wisdom, inspiration, lucid with expression that if truly absorbed, has the ability to strengthen one's conviction to change in ways that truly count, for the better. If I could give 10 stars, I would, in fact, I do!

I like the autobiography of this great man. It’s full of good advices for you.
