In under 200 pages, Krystal shares with us her inner most beliefs and convictions and supports her claims with humility and research. This book is vulnerable and that feels like power to me. I felt empowered reading each page of this book because of the authenticity (through lived experience) imbued in each page. This book was a pleasure to read and acts as a catalyst for the reader to enrich their own spiritual practice through broad exploration. Good job, Krystal! And thank you! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Beginners book *by A***A on Reviewed in the United States on February 12, 2020* The first part of this book is very much an introduction to the different activities you can do for self-love and to create a connection to the feminine energy. Each chapter is a very short introduction. I was hoping for a more in-depth and almost like a daily log of how to connect on a deeper and more intimate level. The chapter on essential oils and stones and other such topics have just a few offerings. Of course there are hundreds of stones and essential oils that can be used to develop a deeper connection with yourself and the feminine energy. This is great for beginners that are really seeking to connect with themselves. But for someone who already understands the importance in mirror work, meditation, mantras, affirmations, essential oils, Stones, etc, you may want to seek a different book. The first half really is a quick glance of information that will lead you seeking information elsewhere defined more on each topic.The second part covers a connection to the Hindu goddesses. There are many pantheon's with goddesses and the author dives in to quite a few here with her personal connection with each. I did enjoy the introductions to each goddess with the accompanying mantras and correspondences.Parts of the book does assume you understand the terminology or pronunciations of the mantras. It would be nice for phonetic breakdown of the mantras, especially for newbies. There was a quick reference to going online to find the proper pronunciation for yourself. some terminology was explained as it was presented like what is a mantra but other practices were not such as puja. Other than that, the book was fairly easy and quick to read. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not necessarily for beginners, but still worth the read! *by N***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 23, 2020* I gave five stars because I think for what it is, it was well done. Much of what was in the beginning of the book (first half) IS def for beginners - but as someone who has practiced for almost two decades I was still able to pick out little bits and pieces.
