Amazing Product That Actually Works!
In recent years I have become more prone to motion sickness. Sometimes on amusement park rides and even car rides, one wrong jolt, hard turn or erratic movements can trigger headaches which are accompanied by a really bad bout of nausea. Now the simple solution might be to avoid amusement parks altogether but with 2 young children who love to go on rides this option is not realistic so I began looking for something that could help with my issue and found it with the Emeterm Fashion Band. I heard about Emeterm from a podcast host who had used it for amusement park rides specifically and reported success with the product so I bought one of my own. Initial thoughts after receiving the product. Pros: -Design is simple and low profile which I like -Device is very intuitive to use and had no issues starting up, adjusting strength and turning off -Instructions provided were very helpful, especially the bit about using the gel on wrist prior to using. If you donโt have the gel on hand some water on the wrist works just as well -The extra charging cable and extra strap (one strap is longer than the other) were also nice thoughtful bonusโ too -Battery Life is great Cons: -My biggest gripe with the product is the design of the strap. Having the fit the strap hole over the fastening button turned out to be a little trickier than I would have liked. While itโs designed like other smart watch straps, itโs not a good. HOWEVER, I have since bought the new updated version of the fashion that has a more traditional/old school style watch strap and itโs made things so much easier and better. Really happy with the update. โMy only other issue is sometimes finding the sweet spot on the wrist can take a little getting used to. The Emeterm came in just in time for a weekend trip which included 8 hours worth of train rides, 3 hours on a bus, a taxi car ride and some local subway travel. The bus ride was in particular was quite challenging due to an insane amount of traffic and lots of stop and go movements. Through ALL of this travel, I did not once feel any onset of headaches or nausea from all the movement! Leading up to this trip I was terrified that at some point I would feel sick and I was so happy that nothing happened. If this trip alone didnโt solidify my confidence in this device I have used it in other situations as well such as daily driving and occasionally when migraines occur and I feel some nausea accompanying it. The Emeterm does a good job of limiting the nauseous feeling when a migraine occurs. I would absolutely recommend this product for anyone looking for motion sickness relief. The Emeterm is worth every penny and has allowed me to travel more confidently and comfortably.

Works great on planes, trains, boats automobiles, even while on my couch
This is the second one Iโve purchased. Absolutely love it. Used the first one on my trip to Germany and Amsterdam. I often get nausea, but not this trip. I used it to alleviate my nausea on my plane ride, a boat tour, all the taxi rides and even on a four hour train ride. Absolutely no nausea by just using this device I canโt believe it. The first one I purchased had a different band and it wasnโt easy to put on by myself. When this new version came out with a new and improved band, I was so excited. It works just like a regular watch band with a buckle. Works like a charm easy to put on and it stays in place. I have very sensitive skin, but this does not bother my skin at all, which is an absolute plus. Itโs very comfortable, fits well, has a long battery life, charges easily and quickly. Today, I felt nauseous after eating something that didnโt agree with me so I put on this device and my nausea subsided. I would recommend this to anyone that struggles from motion sickness. Itโs been a lifesaver.

YES, it WORKS! And it deserves FIVE STARS! :)
I purchased this to help manage my persistent nausea from long term medication - I wanted to reduce the number of relief medications I had to take to manage side effects. Out of the box, the device was easy to understand, and the functions are intuitive; just like every Bluetooth earbud I've worn, one tap is up, two taps is down. You can also hit one tap slowly and repeatedly to get all the way to the top intensity, and then it cycles back to the lowest setting. It comes with two wristbands, and the one already installed is comfortably sized. I want to point out that the kit comes with TWO chargers, which is generously intelligent by the company, as it's a specialized charger and you can't pick one up at the gas station if you forget yours at home while travelling. As a standard watch-style function, it is of course very portable. To start, it is a lot smaller than I thought it would be. This is a great thing, as I work with computers and having a large bracelet at the bend in my wrist would make it very difficult to type. The band closure may seem difficult to use, but it's extremely well-designed and has stayed on through sleeping, playtime with my dog, and general life and household chores for 20 hours straight without needing adjustment or re-closure. If you're like me, you want to know what each of the lights mean and what flashes mean and similar. I didn't see it anywhere in any of the instruction manuals, videos, or reviews, so I'll tell you here: the lights will flash every three seconds while it's in use, showing you the intensity level it's set at. When I first got it, I thought it was an error alert, but it's simply it alerting you to the device's status. I waffled between a 4 star and 5 star rating for one reason: whether it's just me or normal, it's very difficult to get it in the sweet spot for effective use. I thought it wasn't working the first five minutes I had it on then I shifted it and AH! There's the electrical stimulation! I decided on a 5 star review because it is a lot easier to get it to that sweet spot every time I need it; I'm learning where is the best placement on my body. That's not a fault of the design. I have worn it since I received it except to charge (mine came practically fully charged, which my stomach was thankful for), and have used it repetitively and for extended periods of time. I can tell a definite difference in my body's nausea response to my medications. Instead of my mouth watering, and not in the good way, when I think of food, I actually feel like I can eat something and keep it down. This is a HUGE breakthrough in my health. My meds already wreak havoc, so I need to keep up my strength. I'm so thankful I can do so easily and without even more medication! It lasts all day at minimum even with my excessive use, and charges fully in the time it takes me to shower and do a load of clothes. This means I don't have to go without it for any extended time. In the interest of transparency, I've had the device for 24 hours. I've worn it for 20 and used it for 16 of those 24 hours. I am not normally one to write long, rambling reviews, but given how pervasive my nausea is and how much hope I had with this device, I couldn't stay silent. It is really incredible! I am also a lifelong sufferer of severe motion sickness, and I'm so excited to let someone else drive the car for a change, to play VR games with my kids, and maybe even read on a trip! I wish I'd had enough money to get the more expensive version, as I really need the waterproof feature to keep living my life without fear of damaging the one thing keeping my from vomiting at any moment, but I'm so thankful for this device and how it's already significantly improved my standard of living. TL;DR: Great value for the money, it DOES work, have patience finding the right location on your wrist, battery life is VERY good, band stays clasped, and it comes with TWO of their proprietary charging cables. FIVE STARS!

Stylish Game Changer
The EmeTerm Fashion device is an anti-nausea wristband that looks as good as it works! I was already a huge fan of the EmeTerm product line - both the Explore and Smart versions are fantastic. These products literally changed my life, as when using them, I'm able to boat for hours, on heavy seas, and I don't experience any sea sickness. The EmeTerm Fashion works without conductive gel, allowing you to use it anytime, on demand. I use it when I'm in a more upscale setting - boat dinner parties, etc. It looks like a high end wristwatch - sleek and modern - yet has the same effective punch as the others in the EmeTerm product line. Just awesome! Thank you so much, EmeTerm! I've purchased several of these bands - and now have one for "dressy" boating occasions! Amazing technology. I keep a few on board the boat for anyone who joins us that experiences similar issues. They are shocked (no pun intended) by how well they work and how cool they look! Bravo, EmeTerm!

Worked well for me while cruising, amazing customer service.
I originally wanted to try this band for my husband who gets really motion sick in a lot of circumstances - we were going on a trip to some amusement parks and a long cruise after in late February and were hoping to reduce the number of days when he had to take medication; when I ordered mine in January, the company was just starting to send out the new type of band for these devices. As to the reviews complaining about the old band - yes, the old band was easier to put it on with an extra hand, but I own a Fitbit and that has a similar closure, so it wasn't a problem for me. My husband did need help. I did worry about the device possibly dropping off - but Frank, the EmeTerm Customer Service rep who communicated with me, made sure I got a little package with two silicone rings to help keep the band closed and some neat wipes before we went on the trip, because he was certain the new band wouldn't make it in time. Everything worked great with the ring, the device stayed where it was supposed to. That said, the new band arrived yesterday, and even though I am happy with the old one plus the ring, this does look sturdier and easier to close; and it has a ring already attached. The whole thing feels a bit stiffer, more like a watch band. Frank kept me updated throughout the process, which I thought was great. As for functionality for nausea, I think it's a personal-have-to-try-and-see thing, as everyone is different. With the great experience I've had with their customer service, I would say don't hesitate to order one and return it if it doesn't work out for you. My husband did feel a difference with the band when we were testing it on swings (fastest way to get him to feel like throwing up...) before the trip, but found the pulses uncomfortable beyond Level 1 - and Level 1 was not enough to alleviate his queasiness on the swings. With Level 2, he felt somewhat better, but not comfortable, either, and the pulses really bothered him. So he ended up wearing the band in the parks and turning it on while we were standing in line for the somewhat rougher rides (we skipped spinning and swinging ones altogether) and he didn't feel sick after any of them, just a bit terrified after some. ;-) Then he turned it off right away until the next rough ride - he didn't need any meds at all on those days. He did end up taking low daily doses of Meclizine during the cruise and dealt with the tiredness, because he was worried he might have to have the band going all the time, which he didn't want. He wants to try again on a shorter boat trip and see if there are enough distractions so he won't mind the pulses so much; but for the next cruise, we might try the patch for him instead. I on the other hand love this gizmo - we had a couple of rough sea days on the boat, and AFTER I started feeling quite queasy, I put on the band on Level 2, and felt better after about 10 minutes, and pretty much fine after about 20 minutes. Yep, it actually helped after the fact, unlike some other methods I've tried where you have to be proactive. I was able to join a drawing class at the aft of the boat where the motion was really strong, and was fine. After the class, I left it on Level 1 for the rest of the afternoon and was able to take it off when we went to bed. I can feel the pulses, and they feel a little 'pinchy' on Level 2, but not enough so that I would switch to medication. I'm definitely keeping mine and taking it for future boaty adventures; I might get a second one for my husband if he ends up with a successful trial on his next boat ride.

Does its job extremely well, but band broke within 6 months
This band works better than any motion sickness product I've tried. What appealed to me was the statement that it helps with motion sickness while playing video games, which is when I have the most issues. I do still take Bonine as well when playing certain games, but I don't need anything else when using it on the train or in the car. I also like that gel is not required to use this particular band, as I'm allergic to a lot of the gels. I didn't realize how much it was helping, until I forgot to put it on one day and was on the train. My husband didn't think it was making a difference until I told him to take it off, then he realized it was actually helping a lot. So you may not notice that it's helping until you don't have it. That said, I bumped "value for money" down to three stars, because the part of the main piece where the band slides in came apart where the band would not stay on. As far as the product working, it's definitely worth the money, especially if you're constantly having to buy medication, and it holds the charge really well. But I'd had the product for less than six months when the band broke. We reattached it with some silicone, since I don't really need the band to be able to slide out anyway, and that has held up fine, but I was very disappointed when it happened. Despite the broken band, I recently ordered a second one for my husband because he was amazed at the difference it made, and he tends to get sick on the bus at work. Hopefully we won't have another band issue, but at least the silicone is holding up fairly well, and that doesn't impact how the product works. The one I got was the "new band," so they've had issues with the bands in the past, but don't seem to have all the kinks worked out. Hopefully they can make a few more modifications and get that fixed Update 11/10/2021: the silicone we were using quit holding up not long after our second band arrived, so we were back down to one. We bought a third recently, then the band on the second one did the same thing as the first, on our way to Disney. We swung into the dollar store and grabbed some super glue and just glued it back in. I'm not sure why super glue didn't occur to me before, but I still have the first band, and will do the same with that one. Another review said the company replaced their band, which is probably what I should have done initially, but fixing it myself hasn't been a big deal, especially since the super glue is holding really well. They do still need to work on the design, but it's not an immediate problem

Worked great- until it got wet. Did not see it was it was not waterproof
Fits well. Made well, comfortable. Eased my motion sickness. But either I missed it in the description - but o did not see that is wa not waterproof. After 1 weekend of boating, getting on and out of the water/ it quit working. I kept it for a few more weeks, seeing if it would start up again to no avail. Bummed. But is is a great product- very light and easy to wear, but should state that is is not waterproof.

Slim model that really works!
Having already owned a stimulating motion sickness band and knowing how well it works, we needed an additional one for an upcoming cruise. This model is so easy to use and we really like the slimness of the overall unit. It fits snug against the wrist and the band allows for the skinniest of wrists up to workout-man-sized wrists. The ease of powering on and control of level made this the perfect band for my teenage son. These really work and we were so grateful for it when we hit rough seas. The charge was great and it lasted through the night and day before it needed a quick recharge.
