It is not necessarily suitable for use with other products. The element can be used as electric only or in a centrally heated system ( Dual Fuel ) to provide heating of the towel rail when the central heating system switched off (e.g during the summer). Protection device fitted inside the heater prevents over heating of the towel rail. The element should not be tested out of water.
