Great coverage of a master, and many of his recipes.
As we are big fans of Restaurant Daniel, I purchased both of the cook books from the kitchen of Chef Boulud, and we love then. Note: they ARE quite heavy.

This was my second purchase of this book which I have had for over 25 years and it is very easy to use which will produce absolute world-class results. Written by one of the kindest and most Naturally gifted cooks to have ever lived

Bill Clinton Vanilla Blueberries
Great cookbook - a must try is the very simple but delicious Vanilla Blueberries ice cream recipe he whipped up for President Bill Clinton. It was a smash hit in our house. Another family favorite is Chicken Grand-mere Francine. What I love about this book is the very detailed cooking instructions. Although some of the recipes calls for ingredients that may be hard to obtain ( at least, for 1 whole dinner recipe, from main course to the accompanying sauce)they make for some very fine Sunday dinners.

Great recipes!
So glad I gave this Christmas gift early to my husband. He's already made so many yummy recipes. We love DBs restaurants so now my husband can create some of our favorites at home. He did the famous Troisgros' Restaurant Salmon & Sorrel that revolutionalized French cooking= Nouvelle Cuisine. That was outstanding!

Not enough visuals ...
This is a very detailed cookbook but it suffers from a LACK of pictures ... it's so important to be able to see a picture of the completed dish ... I like the recipes but the book has left me wanting ...

Gorgeous Book!
This is a beautiful book. It does pose a certain level of difficulty, but noting unobtainable, if you just take a deep breath and follow the detailed instructions.

Fantastic cookbook, very clear written and the recipes are timeless! Easily to recreate his recipes at home! Good modern french/american cuisine.

nice recipes and delicious results
I like the recipes in the book. They are not easy to make, but it is possible if you have experience. The ingredients are not so difficult to find and the results are delicious. For Europeans, you need to translate the american weight jargon into grams and kilo's....
