Highly effective, easy to use
I find this SRA Soldering Products PEN_RMA SRA #99-20 Rosin Rma Soldering Flux Pen to be effective and easy to use. Sometimes, I find I need to use flux in addition to what is in the flux core solder I typically use. This pen is convenient, and allows precise application of the flux. I do find that in some situations, I need to "prime" the pen by pressing it against my work table to get the tip wet - this is especially true when I am soldering a component onto a delicate board or connection.

It's a pen....!
Yeah, not too much to say about this. Shake it a bit, then put the tip on what you want flux on, and depress the pen a few times to saturate the tip with flux.I normally use flux paste, but I got this to aid in flux application for some SMD soldering kits I bought here on Amazon recently. This pen works great for that, since you can easily brush flux onto soldering pads on a PCB, and not worry about a blob of paste snagging tiny SMD components.I've only used mine a couple of times, but it's working fine despite my dropping it onto a concrete floor a few times. If you need it, get it!

Simply the best
Simply the best Flux I've found for soldering. Still requires a bit of cleanup after use for appearances but not necessary.

Does the job.........
I bought this to help solder in the new stepper motors on my Tahoe Dash Board. All but 2 of my gauges died on my 2004 Tahoe and I bought new stepper motors to fix them. I bought this pen just to make it a bit easier for me and it was. After I cleaned up the old solder on the board I use the pen and the new solder went on like warm butter. I used this pen to replace every stepper motor and light bulb on the board and every connection was perfect. I am so happy I bought this as it made my job so much easier. I highly recommend this product.

Works great
Especially useful for small areas i.e. circuit boards. Easy clean up. Good product.

Good flux
First time using a flux pen. It definitely helped to make the solder flow and was an ease to apply. It has a big chisel tip, but wasn't too hard to get it to apply to some tiny pins with a steady hand. It looked like some of the flux had spilled out in the bag that it came in, but when I shook it, it seemed like their was plenty left (90%) for what I will use it for. 5 stars for the product, minus one for the leakage prior to arrival.

Received Seven Months Expired
The expiration date on the flux pen was 02-23-2020, seven months expired when I received it. This may be Amazon's fault for not rotating stock so I refrained from giving it one star. Also, there is some debate whether solder flux expiration dates really mean anything. The pen is not dried out. Amazon provided a refund with which I ordered a different brand of flux.

Don't forget the flux!
If you've ever forgotten to put flux on a part then you immediately remember to do it. If you've never done it, then you might think soldering is some kind of magic. Use flux and the magic becomes science/chemistry.This is handy for doing quick touch points on small boards (Arduino) and getting your solder/wires to link up much better. Dab of this on the board, dab on the stripped wire, put some solder on your iron, slip the wire through the hole in the board, touch the end of the wire and the solder will run down the wire, into the hole and thoroughly secure your wires in place. Easy peasy.

Works as expected
This flux pen works well and as expected. I think it's not the greatest value/amount but it is very convenient and works well. I don't know how long it will last but, time will tell. I have since purchased a 125ml bottle of MG Chemicals Resin Flux 835 based on a recommendation from Mr. Carlson's Lab. Recommended

Good flux, bad cap design.
Quality of the flux seems good, easy to dispense. used it on a pile of SMD projects. The cap on this pen is a pain - when I was soldering with it I was finding myself duct taping the lid to my desk because it's impossible to get the cap off with one hand while holding an iron, and it gets gummed up/sticky easily. The pen met its death roughly halfway through it's flux quantity when I went to open it for a simple soldering job in a small aircraft and the cap was stuck on and the pen came apart. it sprayed sticky flux all over the cabin floor - was not impressed.

it's on par with the other pens
i find that if i use it with a flux mixture to smear with, that it works like other pens but faster

Does a good job at making the solder flow
Does a good job at making the solder flow, and the fact it is a pen, it help to apply the flux at the right place. The tip can get a bit damage but you can avoid this by being careful not to rub it on something too sharp or pointy.

Cool Tool
Flux tool permits precise application of flux. It is ideal for soldering electronic components. Refilling is messy but doable. Overall a good buy.
