Never thought I'd be writing a review about sprinkles, but here we are. Lol. I just feel compelled to say that these are the best sprinkles I've ever purchased. I'm not even a huge fan of sprinkles because a lot of them make feel like I'm chewing on flavorless bits of rocks. But these? They're perfect! Not too hard, not too soft. And they actually taste like chocolate; not an overly-waxy vaguely chocolate flavor, but like actual chocolate.I am trying to eat better. So for a sweet treat, I sprinkles these atop a bit of sugar-free jello or pudding with lite whipped cream. They add some much-needed texture to jello and pudding, which can get pretty boring. I also like sprinkling these on a scoop of Arctic Zero, again, for some texture. And also for some fun. Because let's face it: sprinkles are fun. They make me feel like a kid again, and I think we all could stand to put a little bit of whimsy in our lives, especially given all the sadness and pain of the last year.I didn't mean to get philosophical about freaking sprinkles, but if you take away anything from this review, I hope it's that these are great, they're fun, and you deserve some fun.

I would have used this to liven up some meals, chocolate shavings ( these are sprinkles but the effect is the same) have long been used to enhance the flavors of complex dishes other than just on top ice cream. Added to teriyaki sauce for example, they bring a tangy smokey'ness to food its then draped over with a bit if melted butter. ( If you are reading this Chef Ramsay, no I will not give you my secrets). Anyway, the jar never arrived despite the delivery persons claim that it did. I have since found Penzeys to be a reliable source of many good spices. Wish I could write something nice but I would need the actual.product in my hands for that. Maybe if delivery would follow directions and deliver to the security desk in bldg 128 at this hospital as directed and not just toss them on a bench somewhere and drive off, I would have gotten them....

Over 6$ for one tiny bottle....they taste ok but will not order again. I didn't read close enough so it's my own fault. I ordered other Betty Crocker sprinkles that came in a six pack for the same price so I assumed this was also a six pack. Lesson learned don't assume ! Read the whole description don't just look at the picture.
