Imperdible
Una guía indispensable y bellísima. Excelente calidad de encuadernación e impresión. Con lo mejor de una guía moderna y la belleza y romanticismo de las guías clásicas con ilustraciones.

Easy to Read
This guide was very easy to read and easy to find the animal you’re looking for with the categories in the book. Didn’t have every animal, but you’ll only get that with specific guides. If I had a choice I would probably pick multiple individual guides which would cover all the animals you would see since I studied biology in school and appreciate a good guidebook. However for the average vacationer this guide includes many of the species you will see on your trip and will give you a start if you see an animal not included in the book.

Caribbean Wildlife Guidebook
Wonderful guide to the Caribbean. Some ebooks won't let you enlarge the illustrations unlike this handy guide. I liked this edition because it had a variety of animals from plants to birds and reptiles. The illustrations were well done and beautiful.

Beautiful guide
I thought this would be a fold out card, but no, it is a 300 page book! It is indexed and color coded for different types of wildlife, trees, plants, & full color pictures.

This was the most helpful book for many of the Caribbean wildlife in almost all of the islands. It helped me identify many of the animals, plants and trees I was looking for.

OK as an introduction
I found this book frustrating and disappointing. I saw several species of lizards that I couldn't locate in the book. The hummingbird illustrations don't include back views. Etc. This book is for the person who needs an introduction not a thorough guide.

Kindle Impractical for Field Use
I downloaded Kindle edition in a few seconds. Book looks great. Plates are beautiful. But if on wants to find a species in the midst of birding, for example, there is no simple access to the index. The index-finding process would be much easier if the index was at the front of the book or could be printed for quick reference in the field. On the other hand, the book can be studied on the plane enroute to the Caribbean. Unless one is pinched for space, it makes far more sense to buy a printed version of this book.

Content Rich!
I just received my copy of Wildlife of the Caribbean, and after looking through it I am so impressed with the rich content and clear pictures. I could not believe that so much information could be packed into such a small and compact field guide. I highly recommend this guide to anyone traveling to the Caribbean as it jamb packed with a wide variety of wildlife and plants that you may discover. It is my first guide that I purchased for this region and I am so happy I did!

Great infact so great some one nicked mine so its still going round Cuba - I liked the combination of concise information and pictures of flora, fauna, birds and animals in one book. I kept this for reference on the front of our coach and it was quickly used to identify species or find out more information on the species we encountered - it was particularl visiting Las Terrazas Eco Community, West Cuba where there are man hummingbirds,Tocoroco, Greater Grackles etc as well as plenty of plant life. The book is a good size not to heavy easy to use so a good all round resource for travels around the Caribbean

Soldi buttati

Beautiful Introduction To The Caribbean
A very nice-looking guide with good introductory overviews on habitats and many common and some rarer plant/bird/mammal/fish species. A good companion for a trip to that area but not an advanced guide (i.e. lacking maps, bird plumage variations, etc).
