Beautiful and Simple
Coop came quickly and was relatively easy to put together. The box says 90 minutes but we set our timer and it took almost five hours, we’re not very handy though! It’s beautiful and has everything we could be looking for in a coop. One thing to note is the box says it can hold 24 chickens, but I wouldn’t put more than 12-15; it would be a little tight. Bantams maybe 18. For my six French Guineas it is perfect!

Its cute
My husband put this together for our new chicks. It is very cute but not super thick or sturdy. We have embellished it a lot to fit what we want, like adding a bigger run on the back side of it and tiered roosting bars 2x4's inside, 3 of them. There is no chicken door, so we added a door on a pulley system. The windows are cute and functional but we added hardware cloth to make them safe to leave open for ventilation. We are still going to add hardware cloth inside at the top of the coop, so that the chickens won't roost way up there and poop down the walls....also to keep them safer....so they are completely safe and enclosed at night away from predators. We are also going to modify the nesting boxes because the size they are 10x12 seems small, and we think 12x12 or 14x14 will be better for us. We don't have bantam chickens. We will end up with 4 nesting boxes and we are adding plastic bins in each box so that we can easily remove and clean them as well. We have 8 chicks presently. We may add a few more at some point. This coop should work well. I'm not sure that you HAVE to customize it, but we did and we like it.

Pass this one by.
Warped wood. Damaged pieces. Locks are flimsy. We needed to practically rebuild it. They did refund 500.00. Get this If I would have kept the original boxes they would have allowed me to return it but you don't know how bad it is till you're way into putting it together And they said I would have to disassemble it to return for refund. Yeah I laughed out loud as well. Pass this one up. We had to practically rebuild it.

Doesn't last more than a season.
It was easy to put together. It fits my 10 chickens well (they free range during day).. It doesn't have enough roosting bars. I had to add more. With that said, after a year the wood has rotted out completely . The doors are warped and the nesting box is all mush. It has been a wetter season this year. Even after treating the wood it just didn’t hold up. It just isn't worth the price

Doesn't Come with a Floor!
This is a very nice coop, though some wood was warped and didn't fit well until screwed in. Also, it doesn't come with a floor! I paid all this money and no floor! So now we have to measure for some plywood and rig a floor of some kind so I don't have to mow my coop!

Derecho 2020 baby
Great coop but would have given it 6 stars if it could of withstood the 140+mph winds we got last month...

Won't accommodate 15 chickens.
We purchased this for our 15 chickens (as it says it will accommodate). It is small for them, so we built a larger run for them. Items to think about is that it is made with 1x2s not 2x4s, it does need to be painted - the paint on it is more of a white wash and will not handle weather, after sitting a few days - the slats dropped down and we had to secure them, the doors are a bit flimsy, the peak on the roof actually needs asphalt shingles for the peak - not wood which is provided so it does not seal like a room and leaks if there is wind driving rain. It is cute, we just expected more. But it is very easy to put together and the instructions are easy to understand.

Do Not Be Wiilling To Pay $6000
Y'all are crazy asking $6000 + for this! We paid the $2000 + price, and while it is cute at first, tbat only lasts for so long. This is the cheapest softest wood they could use. The roofing is already sagging from rain because it is cheaply made with space between top and bottom. Screws come out of the lay box lid because the wood is to soft. I only write this review to warn those thinking they'd actually pay $6000 for it! It wasn't worth the $2000 + we paid. It is a temporary coop at best. Better and cheaper to build your own.
