Loved the books, initially bought for my daughter, but I ended up reading as well. Great set, books are awesome, likeable characters, amazing storyline. Sucks you in until you realize it's the last page and there's none left!

I loved this story and need to reread it again and again. The romance is perfect and it’s like the bachelor and the hunger games/divergent put into one.

I read The Selection via Amazon Kindle and was intrigued so I ended up to buy the whole set. It was a very addicting series but by The Crown it got kind of slow and not as exciting. I want to continue on the series but hesitatant to buy individual books just to finish the series. When I started The Selection, I didn't realize it is a series of books before the ending.

AFter World War III the world is divided up differently than it is now and things work differently too. Here in America there is a selection that chooses the next Queen but the contestants for the crown aren't Royal. The Selection is done on TV with the world watching the outcome. There is a Caste system in effect that makes it almost impossible for the lower Castes to get any chance at all. Throughout the Selection America Singer is one of the contenders and no one knows why. During this series you learn who America is, what her edge is, about her life before, about her love before, and how she keeps herself in the running when she is from one of the lowest Castes. This series pulls you into a world that is so different from ours and yet America uses her brain to keep herself safe from other contenders as well as the grooms father. She will steal your heart and you will be pulling for her though out the series. As she takes down one problem another seems to pop up and Maxon doesn't give you any hints as to his feelings as the Selection proceeds from one book into the next until the end when he seems to date everyone but her, Like Divergent and The Hunger Games you learn to love America from the start. She uses her brain to save herself time and again.

Love these books! The first 3 are my favorites- The Heir is good, followed by The Crown which (although not included in this set) is okay. I love the story of America and Maxon; I recently bought this for my 14 year old niece and she likes it as well! It is a good read with romance but stops short of sex; topics I feel are manageable for early teens.

Liked the first book so purchased the set. By the end of book 3, I didn't care anymore. Never made it past the first chapter of book 4. Way too predictable.

What an amazing bundle of books!!!! Aaaahhhh!!!!!! Creative storyline, characters with hella chemistry. They’ve got it all!!!!!

These characters were AMAZing. Great writing and wonderful storytelling. There is a difference between the two. Also, I love the boundaries put in place to where the characters experienced heat and those first flurries of love yet nothing dirty or crass. It's rare that I find a book where I'm so involved that it keeps me up at night, wondering about the characters. From one author to another - thank you for sharing your gift and bringing great stories to light!!

My child after reading this series and loving it myself I bought this set as a present for a friend child. Great value for money, lovely presentation and beautiful covers.

Das winzige was ich aussetzen kann ist das die Bücher nicht sehr gut zu trennen sind in ser hinsicht das wenn man den ersten teil schon gelesen hat man gucken muss wo der zweite teil anfängt und dad ist ein qenig mühselig aont super. Der preis ist voll gut ubs die autorin auch

Author is a great writer that takes a story and makes you deeply involved in it. This book is so much more than just a love story which is why I loved the series so much.
