Battery life not great.
I've used this for about 2.5 years for my guitar. The sound quality, range, etc are all great. My main complaint is the battery life. I basically have to have it plugged in anytime I'm not using it. The battery recently reached the end of its life so now I am needing to replace the transmitter. I used to have the Shure wireless guitar setup and that one was much better.

Transmitter weak
I've used a few wireless systems during 35 years of gigging and having the receiver on my pedal board is great. This unit has great sound reproduction but limited in range also the Transmitter needs to be placed on charge after each set otherwise it will run dry before the end of a 4 hour gig.

Good at first, got unusable over time
This worked great for about a year. Good battery life, clear sound. But then it gradually started getting a gritty aberration in the signal, not distortion, but a kind of digital chatter or gravel that comes and goes over about a five minute period. It has become useless. Very disappointed to spend top dollar for a top product that decays so soon.

Battery life is no bueno
Works fine, more then fine, even great i would dare to say; i enjoy using it BUT battery life is really depleting fast each use it last less time and is barely making it through the 1hr set and it starts blinking red need to charge the battery… really disappointing considering hefty price tag… this is 16 months of sporadic use like twice monthly or less… Sennheiser engineers please fix the battery issue!!!

Worthless to a pro musician
1) Transmitter battery life: Less than two hours before it went into red warning. Really Sennheiser... I can't use this for a full gig? 2) Mute button on transmitter: Impossible to use on stage unless you are looking at it (not susceptible of being located—except visually—as it is so small and is recessed). If you need, or want to mute from the transmitter in order to tune or change guitars, this button is almost useless. It should be a dip-switch design that protrudes above the device so a performer can locate it without looking, while on stage, and is clearly visible to stage hands. 3) Disconnection: If you remove transmitter and turn it off for awhile in order to save battery life (like during a break), the receiver shuts down too. You have to restart both, which takes a few moments. 4) Tuning: No way to set tuner for always-on (like the TC Electronics PolyTune Nano tuners) which a pro-level tuner should have. 5) Rotating 1/4 inch plug: Flops around loosely and just feels unreliable (unlike the design on the much cheaper Chinese-made guitar-shaped transmitter/receiver sets that rotate but have stiff, solid feel to them. BTW, that brand's battery life is 4 hours.). Don't know why Sennheiser, renowned for quality, would build a product this poorly designed.

no battery in the base station
Note, no battery in the base station. Product description is somewhat misleading, no USB microphone

Delivery Review
Usually products will deliver with inside of another. But this i received directly with Sennheiser box only. It is not safe, product may damage. Luckily no damage.
