Mine kept shutting off after a bit if it wasn't moving. I took it apart as all good Electronics Technicians would do. The heat sink surface of the case was painted and there was a blob of adhesive separating the circuit board from the case as well. After removing the paint and cleaning it up, applying a proper coating of heat sink compound, reassembling and testing the unit, it works great. Wife said I turned a $40 light bar into a $140 light bar. At least now I'm sure it won't have any more thermal problems. No problems with condensation behind the cover yet.
