These are precisely machined and seem to be of very high quality. After checking all the wrenches in this set, I find none to be different in quality, fit, and finish -- all are well made, smooth, and fit well. They are chamfered to ease insertion and extraction from the screw head. Nonetheless, all that I have tried fit very securely with no noticeable "play" in the screw head. They seat firmly and efficiently transfer your motion to the screw in question. Other less expensive sets are not so precisely machined and may allow "play," which makes them harder to use and more likely to damage the screw or the part being attached. (Cheaper sets allow more "play" between wrench and screw, making them more likely to slip out while you are applying force.) So the company itself is in Los Angeles CA, but they outsourced to Taiwan. I'm mostly ok with this giving the current geopolitical climate.
