I purchased the Rockville RVES1 speaker stands on July 1, 2023, and after using them for over two years, here’s my honest take. These stands are definitely designed for smaller speakers, and they perform well within that purpose. I mainly use them with my Bose S1 Pro+, and they’ve been solid, stable, and reliable for that size. If you’re working with 8"–10" speakers, these stands are a great match. They reach a good height for most event setups—around 5–6 ft, which gets the drivers above head level as recommended. However, like most lightweight stands, pushing them toward maximum height can affect stability, so they’re best suited for smaller, portable speakers. For heavier speakers in the 12"–15" range, I would not recommend these. I also own Bose F1 Model 812s at 44.5 lbs each. While the physical connection is compatible, using a stand rated for only 100 lbs with a 44.5 lb speaker leaves little margin for safety, especially during dynamic use in live sound environments. The setup would be close to half of the stand's maximum capacity, which is generally not ideal for stability and safety. One thing to note: the stands scratch pretty easily. It’s cosmetic, but something buyers should be aware of. My main complaint is the carry bag. The straps started breaking within two months after only a few gigs. Rockville did send a replacement bag, but the turnaround was very slow—I contacted them on 9/22/23 and didn’t receive the replacement until early February 2024. On the bright side, the stands themselves have held up well. After multiple gigs over the past two years, they’re still going strong with minimal functional wear. Overall: These are great stands for small, lightweight portable speakers, and they reach the proper height for most event needs. Just be aware the carry bag isn’t very durable, the stands can scratch easily, and they’re not suitable for heavier speakers near the stand’s weight limit.

These Stands are rated at 100lb capacity, they are excellent and a great value, if I could give 10 stars, I would!

Just arrived, and I'm impressed so far. These black-painted steel stands are both extremely lightweight and well-braced. I have my 32lb Yamaha powered speakers at about 6' height on these stands and they are stable. It remains to be seen whether the plastic screw knobs hold up, but if not, I imagine I can replace the nuts and bolts at any hardware store. The manufacturer's description "User needs a speaker on the stand to lower it because it lowers with weight" makes no sense to me. You put the pin through one of the holes in the upper tube to set its height, then screw the clutch on the lower tube to keep the pin resting on the lip of the lower tube, so it won't fall out. You can raise or lower the upper tube with or without a speaker on it, provided you are strong enough.

These puppies are very sturdy, well built stands. They hold up my yamaha pa speakers really nice 👌

Justo como en la descripción, muy livianas para las especificaciones, la funda está bien construida aún que me hubiese gustado que tuviera la asas más grandes o ajustables, por último, las uniones de plástico parecen de baja calidad, pero hasta el momento no me han dado problemas, de ahí en fuera, un producto excelente
