Hands down best side cutters!
No better quality than ChannelLock. Only cutters I buy. 8" is superb for automotive and all around applications. I started buying these back in 1985. I still have my grandpa's from the 1930's. ( they weren't channel lock then ). Don't hesitate on the purchase.

6" review
I ordered the 6 inch as I already have the 8 or 10 inch ones at home Excellent quality. I love this brand and that is why I purchased these 6 inch ones. I do not like the 6 inch and I sent back. The tool is the perfect size in length I wanted, but the jaw/mouth of these are tiny. If you have a normal size ziptie they would barely be big enough to cut in one snip. Not sure what they designed these for.... fishing string? Again, great quality, just not the ones i was looking for.

Quality tools made in the USA
I bought the 6” model and these cutters offer good weight and leverage at this size for everyday jobs. Durable cutting edges will keep these cutters in use for many years. Quality materials and quality craftsmanship have made me a happy customer for many years.

The quality seems to be pretty good. Not overly expensive. Keep them oiled up to prevent them from rusting.
