Great kit, easy to install.
This is a great kit. It fits under the sink between the cold water line and the valve. I installed the valve in minutes about a few days before the new fridge arrives. With the 1/4 turn valve turned off was able to leak test my installation. No leaks, kitchen sink was back running. Next I ran the 1/4" OD tube just below the lowest shelf in the cabinets. I used a 5/16" drill to make holes so the tube would go through easily. Pressed one end of the tube into the valve, the other end (by fridge) went into a bucket. Turned on and ran some water into a bucket to clean and prime the line. When the fridge arrived, just screwed the adapter onto the ice maker inlet. Cut the tube about 40" longer to leave room for pulling fridge out, pressed the line into the back of the fridge and presto, no leaks. Ice started coming out within an hour or so.I highly recommend putting a line on the tubing 5/8" from the end so you know that the line is fully seated. I used a sharpie. With the line being clear, its hard to tell otherwise.

Easy to install but most likely you ll need a push to connect fitting...got one @ HD for $4
I had to go to home depot and get a push to connect fitting (to connect water line coming from fridge to water line supplied) . The kit comes with a an elbow fridge connector but I could not locate such connection in the back of my fridge. It would be nice if the kit includes that quick connect just in case for situation like mine ( a lot of kits out there include such part). Connection at the other end, where you tapping in for water supply is easy. took couple minutes with no leak.

Quick Connect Adapter was perfect for Whirlpool Fridge
After fighting with a leaking original brass nut and compression connector from the water line to my 15 year old Whirlpool fridge, I ordered this kit. The Quick Connect adapter fit the fridge perfectly, as shown in the image from the instructions. The 1/4 inch tubing from my RO Filter is now easily connected to the fridge.

As easy to install as they say
I've tackled home projects for years. I wish I had seen this kit a long time ago. It was very simple to install, the only tool needed was a wrench to loosen and tighten the metal connectors. Start to finish was less than 30 minutes. No leaks on either end of the waterline and I didn't even need to use thread seal.

Great cut off valve hookup:
Super simple to hook up. I connected the water line to the cold side cutoff valve. Just screws on and the same is true on the refrigerator side. Took less than 5 minutes and it's working great.

Amazing product!
I live in a century home without water plumbed to the refrigerator area. We looked into running a line to the refrigerator and found it would be very costly due to the type of existing plumbing in our adjacent laundry room. I saw this product online and was skeptical that this would work. Once it arrived, I was able to quickly attach it to my current laundry room sink, drill a small hole in the common wall, and connect it to my refrigerator. The entire process from start to finish was 20 minutes. Amazing product!
