Neogen 000550 Rodent Bait Station, Black

I have 4 of them just check them regularly

Looks sturdy and durable, putting it under the house because rats keep running aroun under my bathroom floor.

These were a great value for the price paid. They do exactly what they're supposed to do. About the only things I can complain about is that the posts inside are a hair on the too big in diameter, but not enough to keep it from working. I just had a couple of poison blocks break when trying to ease them onto the posts. Could probably sand them down slightly if I really wanted to.The bigger issue, and it's really not that big, is that you really need to check that the boxes lock closed when you turn the keys and remove them. I had a couple of times where the box didn't actually lock because I didn't apply enough downward pressure to ensure it latched. And by downward pressure, I mean actually paying attention to pressing down when doing it, not that it requires a significant amount of pressure to perform.But yeah, inexpensive and does the job it was purchased for.

I was ready to complain that there were no keys. I finally spotted them taped inside. I have big hands so I had to use long needle nose pliers to get to them. Shipping was fast and quality looks good. Bait is a separate purchase.

This station is light weight and cheaply made.Wind kept blowing it away around my house foundation . Had to put a brick on top of it :(.

I liked that this holds 4 baits, the plastic is a fairly good quality. The issues which may make me return it are the spikes that hold the bait are plastic, these will break or the rats will eat them, also the spikes are not metal but thin plastic that tapers at the base, when you push the bait on them half of the time the bait splits into pieces thus making it super unsafe. The other issue is you are supposed to keep track of two tiny plastic keys to open the box up, thats just a plastic key waiting to get lost. Wouldn't order again, mainly because the bait spikes aren't metal and they split the bait.

My poor chickens were having food taken from them by rodents. I tried various traps that worked to some extent , but this worked the best. Easy to load fast effective solution to rodent problems. Remember to order the bait
