Suprised
Was quite surprised how well this worded. Price is about right because I feel I will probably break it as it is all plastic and quite light weight. The breaking part is me as I'm a bit rough on products like this. Next time will buy several.

I can control the itsy, bitsy seeds with ease, worth it.
We purchased this sower for a particular flower seed (name escapes me) that my wife plants every year. It is so small that we end up wasting most of the seed where we do not want it to go. We just tested this with the seed yesterday, it worked great. A few taps and shakes and we could control the flow of seed. I would recommend this to others. I can see it being handy when I need it.

Green base, not the best color choice for very tiny seeds
I would have enjoyed this unit if the base had a white interior vs green, found it hard to manage/sow tiny seeds.

Does what it says, but...
Flimsy and kind of hard to use...the seeds get stuck between the lid and base easily. But it still is helpful for planting tiny seeds.

OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE
This item is a good way to prevent wasting seeds BUT ... there is one caveat: SHOP AROUND! THE PRICE IS OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE. You can get five of these for the same price elsewhere. I did that after having ordered this one and the other options get you precisely the same product. Hint: e..y. Five stars for the product, one star for the price.

Well thought out small seed planter
This seeder has a numbered clear dome with ascending seed sized openings, from completely closed (0) increasing in steps to (5), which looks to be about 3/8" diameter, a pretty large seed would fit through that one. I use a push planter for bigger stuff, but very small seeds may be controlled and dropped as you would want to drop them with this small seeder. It is not too large for your hand and the dome comes off easily to fill the body with seeds, and the dome reinstalls just as easily. All told it is a helpful too for small seed planting.
