I am not much of a drinker, but I cook with wine and use it to deglaze my pans. It often takes me 3, 4, sometimes 5 meals to go through a bottle.This fits over the neck of the bottle, you set the level of vacuum you want, press the top until the vacuum is achieved. It's simple and effective. I have noticed that the wine keeps very well for a week, and seems to have a limit of about 2 weeks.There are better and much more expensive systems available, but my high end bottles run $15 to $25. This works beautifully for my needs.

These work amazing! Kept wine fresh for _weeks_ in the fridge! I’ve not tried sparkling so can’t speak to preserving bubbles, but flavor, aroma, and overall freshness stayed excellent for over a month opening it just a few times during that span. Pressing the top with the dial set to max takes almost no effort and a dozen presses at most to reach where it can’t even rise enough to press back down anymore, really more like half a dozen if you plan to use it up sooner. Build quality and materials are excellent and looking inside its cap you can see how leaks become impossible with this thing as long as you don’t disturb the snug fit (i.e. don’t bend or rotate it around the top). Outstanding product, thrilled to have found a high-quality implementation of this idea!

Ok, I’m not a wine connoisseur here, however I received some champagne that I wanted to recork and decided to give this product a whirl. I love the appearance of the black sleek design. It’s made of a heavy duty plastic which feels really durable. Size was as expected. I really enjoy that you can easily mark the day you opened the bottle with the little dial on the top. My biggest pet peeve is not having enough clarification on the suction of this cork. I watched the video and it isn’t super specific on how many times it’s necessary to push the button for proper suction. I’ve tried 3 times and I’ve tried 10 times and 10 only feels a little bit more sturdy than 3. I haven’t used this for regular wine yet, but for champagne I will say the first time I take off this black cork it still has a good amount of fizz, but the second time my fizz level drops a good amount. Flavor still tastes great. I would recommend to others!

Near perfect stopper. Definitely extends the open bottle wine life. Would certainly buy again if this one wears out. But difficult to get off the bottle between servings. Maybe I am doing it wrong?

Plugs the hole but doesnt really hold pressure when you pump it just buy the plug
