Aloha! The Makaha style is available in prescription. However, we cannot use the non-prescription frame in this process as there is a frame change to compensate for the prescription lenses. For this style, Maui Jim would have to supply a complete frame and lens set to make the prescription.

what are the chances of getting fake glasses? are these genuine?

Yes, I bought a pair, they are genuine.  But apparently the warranty does not come with them, like in the stores.  I had a complaint, and it fell on deaf ears.  The lens' are secured at the top by screws.  The area around the screws began to show stress cracks.  Then the stress cracks became holes.  The lens began to pop out.  The retail stores said they have a strong warranty, so I tried going through Amazon to cash in on that warranty.  Nothing!!!

as you see, this frame is different system holding around head not ear, and very flexible to fit big head. But we strongly suggest try at sunglases hut or nordstrom before purchase. also, there are similar style bigger than this which "Banyans--70mm", Hookipa and mahaka--64mm
