Sandtastik Sparkling White Play Sand, 25 lb (11.3 kg)

Beautiful, soft, sparkly white sand. I didn't realize the "play sand" at the hardware store was so terrible. I feel much better knowing my daughter will be playing in clean, safe sand. I am very pleased with this purchase. I purchased 75lb for a Step 2 sandbox (holds up to 200lb of sand) and I just ordered another 75! 100lb would be sufficient for the sandbox, but I ordered some more because my daughter tends to lose a lot out the sides of the box. Regarding those who said it was dusty, I will say that it does produce dust while playing. However, while the hardware store sand dust floated all over the place and stayed in the air for a long time, this sand settles much more quickly and does not produce anywhere near the total amount of dust. I love the way it sparkles in the sun!

I purchased the 25lb SANDTASTIK for my granddaughter's Step 2 Sand Box Water Table and it was PERFECT! The sand is a glistening white - looks like it comes from a tropical beach - it's not biege/gray, it's white and sparkles in the sun. It molds perfectly when water is added for making sand castles and handforms. When it dries it goes back to its original state which is white, dust free, clean and environmentally safe. There were no signs of any bugs at all in the sand - and we are now into using it for 6 full weeks (leave the sandbox outside covered with its snap cap) and it is the BEST EVER! I will be purchasing another box in the spring so we can 'refill' as needed. It is my three year old granddaughter's FAVORITE activity. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SANDTASTIK sand - it's the best out there!

This sand is unbelievably soft, white, and sparkly! So much fun for toddlers to play with, and run fingers and toes through. Ours was very clean, unlike some that mentioned bugs. My only problem was with the packaging. Four of the eight boxes had gotten crushed a bit in transit; and the plastic bags containing the sand are so thin, that holes are made when you touch them lightly. Quite a bit of sand had been lost in transit, but Amazon compensated me for the loss quickly. I would buy again because the sand is so beautiful and safe from carcinogens, unlike the cheap sand at the big box stores.

I needed to replace the sand for my play therapy space. I needed sand that was easy to clean and not dusty. My old sand, I felt like my kid clients and myself were choking. This sand is smooth, soft, and a lot less dusty. Hardly any dust. It definitely was a bit pricey since I can get a bag of sand at Lowe's for much, much cheaper, but this quality of sand was very nice. I'll provide an update from my other therapist on their take on the new sand and if its easy to clean.

This sand is BEAUTIFUL. It's silky smooth, very fine, and white. I like that its no free silica and no free quartz. we haven't added water to it yet but my kids love it so far. The only issue is that the particle size is so fine that it is kinda dusty and when it's even slightly breezy the sand blows around a lot when its being played with. I am going to add some of Sandtastiks larger size sand to it and hopefully cut down on the amount that blows around. But its very nice sand.

Purchased this sand, however returned it. Not because the sand isn't a nice quality. The color just wasn't as sparkling white as I thought it would be. I'm sure this sand was sourced from actual beaches therefore the sand was definitely given beach vibes. I wanted more of play sand, bright sparkling white color. Almost like with an exaggerated sparkle to it. The sand is great quality and price. It just wasn't what I wanted and envisioned for our sandbox.

This has been the perfect sand for Sandtray therapy. It’s fun for kids and adults of all ages enjoy it. It’s a great value for the amount and size you get. My Sandtray makes it easy to store. It’s not sticky making it easy to clean off of hands and other areas. Highly recommend!

Very nice and clean easy to pour into the sandbox

Sand is neither "white" as described, or comes with "minimal" dust. It is beige in colour, and very dusty even when played with little movement as it is extremely fine. Not recommended for toddlers.

This sand is perfect for the sensory bins in our toddler and preschool activity rooms. The sparkling white colour and texture of the sand is ideal. The children really enjoy playing with this sand.

Used in a sensory bin and used it with a Christmas theme and Beach theme. Kids had fun, very soft with a few sparkles.
