I've tried a few other brands since then, both A and B, American and Canadian, but I guess my first impression stuck, because I still find Highland subtly, lightly, inexplicably better than all the others. I've eliminated most sugar from my diet, but I drizzle a few drops of maple into my coffee each morning. And once a month, I throw diet caution to the winds and have French toast or pancakes just absolutely smothered in Highlands. Great stuff!. Recommend it highly.
