## Features

- DAP. Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP) is the world's most widely used Phosphorus fertilizer. It is made from two common constituents in the fertilizer industry – Nitrogen (N) and Phosphorus (P).
- For the first fertilizer application of the season, apply granular fertilizers by broadcasting them either by hand or with a spreader onto the soil surface of the target plants. Using a hoe or spade fork, work the fertilizers into the top 4 to 6 inches of soil.
- DAP is a balanced fertilizer. Most common commercial fertilizers contain phosphate, which is an essential nutrient for stimulating root growth and plant health.
- DAP is made from two common constituents in the fertilizer industry - manufactured by reacting phosphoric acid and ammonia and contains two ammonia molecules
- DAP fertilizer is an excellent source of phosporus and nitrogen for plant nutrition. It is highly soluble and thus dissolves quickly in soil to release plant-available phosphate and ammonium. A notable property of DAP is the alkaline pH that develops around the dissolving granule.
