But, I bought the DPL II for my girlfriend, and then I gave it a try several times. It is awesome! It has newer LED lights and the panel looks better built. It's also better that the 2 panels are connected, but can be adjusted to different angles. You can also easily lay it right on your face for the best results. That's harder to do with the original DPL System. The closer the red light and infrared light is to your skin, the better. These light spectrums work on the inverse square law. So every inch the light is away from your skin, it has 4 times less effectiveness. Placing it directly on my face works perfect. It also works great for placing it anywhere on your body that has pain. The 96 Infrared Lights penetrate deeper than the Red Lights and they can help the body heal itself. Great product for the price. I've tried $5000 machines and this unit is great for the value and performance. I like my girlfriend's DPL II so much that I bought another one for myself. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High Quality and Effective *by L***E on July 9, 2019* I have Rosacea, so I have a lot of redness on my face, along with discoloration from sun spots on my arms and neck. I have been using this for a few months, and can see significant improvement in the blotchiness on my arms, and the reduction of redness on my face! I also have a tendency towards acne on my back. I use this one device for all three issues, and it's great!! It if flexible, light weight, and MUCH less money than you would spend on similar products through different manufacturers. The three different settings lets you target redness, acne, or wrinkles. In addition, you can combine any two of these at the same time. I use the blue for acne along with the amber for redness on my face. I use the pre-programmed setting for acne on my back, and the pre-programmed setting for redness on my arms and neck. My dermatologist even commented that light therapy will definitely help with sun spots. I am seeing great results! I would highly recommend for the price and variety of uses!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My skin does seem to be better because of it *by J***C on May 14, 2019* I used to pay $20/visit to get blue light treatment at my dermatologist every 2-3 weeks. It worked great but the cost plus the 2 hour drive to get there and back was just too much to fit into my schedule. So I thought I'd give this a try. It's obviously not as powerful as the one at the dermatologist office, but that was obviously expected. I use it for 10 minutes on the blue light function 4-5 times a week and have noticed a huge improvement in my skin. I have had mild acne on my chin area for most of my adult life.
