Viper Astro 80% Tungsten Soft Tip Darts with Storage/Travel Case

These darts saved my marriage! Why? These were the same darts my husband saw at a more local establishment. Since we weren't sure if darts would be an activity we both enjoyed, I didn't really want to purchase an expensive set for myself for one night. However, my spouse always wants to go all in. I'd say he's an optimist, but he's more like a princess:P Ha! At any rate, I was able to convince him to buy a cheap set for us to use at the time for me to have if we decided to pursue darts. Then, when we got home, we'd find him a set. These were the ones he wanted at less than half the price. Cheaper than marriage counseling:P

No joke, the first time I threw with these darts I threw 3 bulls. My friend had just bought them and asked if I wanted to try them. Of course, I don't think the darts were 100% responsible for that but they certainly fit my play style. They stay together well and the case they come with is actually usable unlike some of the other dart brand cases I've seen. The knurled grip give me plenty to hold on to. I don't feel like they're going to slip out of my fingers.

As you can see the darts I received are not what I ordered in the picture. I have owned several different dart sets and I ordered these specifically because I tried them at a friend's house and loved them. The ones I received seem very light - certainly no way they are 18g. I hate the hassle of returning things, so I will chalk up the loss but just be aware you may receive completely different darts than pictured!

Purchased for a friend but had to try them out. They seem to be afraid of a bullseye as the seldom land there. Yes, I’m pretty sure it isn’t my lack of natural talent. Actually they are great darts. Well balanced, good grip and good looking. They came in a small hard case with extra flights, ready to throw. Good value for the money.

This was present. I know nothing about darts so it was a gamble to purchase. My son ,the dart player, absolutely loved them! He said they are weighted very well and feel good to use. These were packaged well with extra parts just as stated. Really a nice gift.

I'm no dart pro, but I love these. They throw consistent, and I can get a pretty good grouping with them. I like how they are weighted. Not too heavy, but more than your average dart which works well for my throwing style. Also they look cool and that is just as important!

I've only had these for a month and they're great darts, but just a little heavy for me for soft tip boards. They came in either 16 or 18 gm and I chose 16. I wish they came in 14 gm but after doing a little research it's hard to find many tungsten darts in 14 gm. These Vipers have a good positive grip and fairly slim barrel with good shafts and tips, and a rather nice aluminum case. The flights are thin and flimsy and I changed those right away. I'd recommend these to any decent shooter, they're just a little too heavy for my liking.
