My dog is 13 and struggles with long walks, hills and steps. This harness has helped so much I couldn’t recommend it enough! Used it for the first time today and have had 0 problems and the straps are very sturdy. The straps are easy to take on and off (I just didn’t need to whilst walking hence the photos and why I have left them on) my dog is a staff cross and I opted for the medium which fits perfectly with enough comfortable room for him to walk in. I have lifted him in and out the car with it too as he can’t do it independently anymore and this has saved my back! It feels strong and secure and I don’t have any worries of it coming undone or snapping etc when lifting him up. If you are getting for a staffy or a broader dog don’t use my size guide as accurate, just consider the right size for your dog, as my dog is a cross breed so is slimmer at the front than a full staffy and I bought a size medium.
