If you remove strip will it take off paint?** A: It shouldn’t. Providing the paint process was properly done. What should happen when you remove is the double face tape will leave a layer and then you could use a eraser wheel to remove the rest of the adhesive. **Q: What is the thickness?** A: 3/16 **Q: How thick or tall is this? I see it is 1/2" wide. Is it firm or spongey ?** A: I'm not sure on the exact height. 1" or less probably. It's fairly firm when you press on it.
