Blue color is boy-ish. *by N***T on Reviewed in the United States on February 5, 2020* I purchased the 5 lb. blanket for my 32-lb. 3-year old daughter and she really likes it. I think it is just the right weight for her as she grows. It also fits perfectly in her toddler bed. I have already washed it and it held up beautifully through a wash/dry cycle. If you haven't tried a weighted blanket, as I hadn't, it kind of reminds me of the feeling of the lead apron they put on you at the dentist's office for x-rays. It's an all-over weight. You can't feel the little beads inside. As another reviewer mentioned, the outer edge of quilting does not contain any weight. My only complaint is the blue color is much more boy-ish than in the picture. It's more of a dark powdery blue and the reverse side is gray. My daughter wanted to reject it at first due to the color, until she tried it and liked the feeling of it.
