Provides enough power!
My dash cam wasn’t working with the permanent wiring setup I bought for it. Come to find out, it wasn’t providing adequate power. I used this, and the dash cam works again with no issues. Glad I didn’t toss my camera!

Always remember amperage rate
Unfortunately, the rate of current was not right for my dash camera. Causing it to shut off every 10 seconds. The battery was new. So it was not enough current to keep the charge per use. Also the cord was long and cumbersome to connect in front of dash. Next time get a USB cable and cigar ret lighter USB rated for 1.5A or more.
