Not suitable for full gowns
Granted I wasn't sure what lenght bag I would need for my gown/dress, since I am only 4'11". But this bag is NOT suitable for a prom or formal gown. It does not expand to accomidate the full bottom. Probably great for regular size dresses or gowns for girls under age 8.

It's a bag and it does what bags do
This is a great closet storage bag for really long items that don't get worn very often. I bought it to store my academic regalia, keeping it clean, dust-free and at least as un-wrinkled as I am. What else can you say about a storage bag - it stores stuff neatly and keeps it clean, and this is so much better than just a plain plastic dry cleaning cover.
