Sturdy and Comfy but Fit Issues for Some
The Vetomile Baby Potty Trainer Seat is a good solution for encouraging my toddler son in his potty training. He climbs the step, turns and sits with ease. Once atop the seat, he seems very comfortable (34" tall; approx 36lb). The only reason I am reluctant to give this item a five-star rating, and this is a pretty major issue, is because of the fit. Our commode is a Bemis standard round toilet with a 16.5" lid from screw seats to front edge. In doing some research, this seems to be a near industry standard size for round profile toilet seats. The Vetomile trainer seat does NOT fit correctly onto the toilet seat. It is, in fact, approximately 1/2" too big from back to front inner ring (see photo). I believe I will get a good fit if I replace the seat with an open front model. But this fit issue is something that must be looked into. Otherwise, I am pleased with the design and construction, and my son seems to think it is plenty comfy.

It’s a little wobbly on our toilet bc it’s a smaller toilet otherwise we love it. We’ve gone through two models of my size potty by summer infant and he wouldn’t take to them. With this one he’s using the big boy potty we use so it’s helped a lot!
