Really happy with this swimming costume. It's lasted us 6 months so far and I reckon we'll still get a bit more wear out of it. Did have to size up as the smaller size was too tight on babies thighs but this one is perfect. Lovely design and great quality. Easy to get on and off too! May be a bit on the pricey side but worth it imo

We love the happy nappy swimsuit range. We have bought one in every size for our little one whilst she has been attending Water Babies swimming lessons. I love that the swim nappy is built into the costume, which when combined with a disposable nappy, fits all of the requirements for ‘double nappies’ as set by many pools. The swimsuit, as opposed to just the happy nappy, give a nice amount of body coverage without being too warm in hydro pools. My daughter had seemed really comfortable in it. The pattern on this costume was as lovely as pictured and the quality of the material is really excellent. I love the bold colours, which make my little one even more visible in the water. They’re a little stiff to get on, there isn’t much stretch (though the top half is stretchier), so it’s obvious when you need to size up, but it gives reassurance that no little accidents could possibly leak. The inner lining is black, so there’s no risk of any unpleasant staining either. They do require handwashing, which is a little bit of a downside - people with young children don’t have much time for this sort of thing, but the pattern and costumes in all sizes have lasted really well, probably as a result. Hand-wash cycle in the washing machine has been fine fortunately!

I was dubious about the happy nappy swim suit as we have been using the happy nappy wrap before hand. I was pleased with how easy this was to put on my 6 month old and how pretty it was. My daughter has been warm enough at 6 months in the swimming pool in this. I do think it will struggle to fit her at age 1 as I found this begun to fit before 6 months and her wrap 3-6 months she outgrew before 6 months. The product is great quality and you have no worries of leaks from the thicker nappy. Some pools will only allow these sorts of swim suits for babies which also an advantage. The quality of this swim suit is much better than other swim suits I’ve found and I would definitely buy again the next size up when necessary.

Bought for my baby's swim lessons. It looks exactly like the pictures. Absolutely adorable on her. We love it. Exactly to get on and off. I followed the reviews and bought the next size up, and it fits perfectly. We use a swim nappy underneath and then just that. Highly recommend!

Great swimsuit

I’m very happy with this costume! My daughter stated wearing this at 12 weeks old. It does fit nice and snug but not too tight. I originally bought a wetsuit happy nappy in the same size and it was really tight on her but this one is much more comfortable due to the top part being more like a swimming costume than a thick wetsuit. For reference she is in the 60th percentile so she’s a big baby.

We got this to replace a happy nappy swim nappy that our little one grew out of. Size wise - size up, for obvious reasons they are fairly tight - so it's a struggle if your little one has chunky thighs. But this was actually easier to get on than the nappies, because it had shoulder straps that we could grip and pull up. It looks adorable too! I did not fully appreciate the ruffle butt detail until it was on - it's gorgeous! Will definitely be buying more for holidays.

My 2 year old is about 37” tall and 30lbs and the size 2-3 fits with a little room! I took a chance with this swimsuit! I thought it would be too small! She normally wears a size 3t and sometimes in swimsuits 4t. The crotch is a little baggy, but that’s how our other happy nappy swim diaper fits. It’s how it fits in the model too. I would say this swimsuit runs slightly large compared to other swimsuits I have for her. It’s really cute and I like the happy happy brand. I’ve used happy nappy swim diaper before like I said and it’s so much better than iplay brand! Much easier to clean as far as accidents than a regular cloth swim diaper. It’s holds the mess better than a disposable diaper. I can for sure fit a disposable diaper under this swim suit if needed! The colors are adorable I’m ordering another one of this same swimsuit for her! Edit now she is 38.5” tall and 32lbs and it still fits really well. We ended up loving this swimsuit for my daughter!
