Different - and good.
These strings have a "smoother" feel to them - a bit more slippery - it is a good thing. They make a nice clean sound on my Dean electric - even when it is not plugged into an amp. These strings seam to produce a bit more pronounced sound than previous strings I have used. Now - if they last longer - as I play consistently about 3 times a week - that would be awesome. Usually changing strings every other month - if these last 6 months - tada :) So far so good.
