I use wood slices constantly for my work and these were probably the softest wood I've ever used and felt very fragile compared to others. Also, the bark is spongy and crumbly and will take very little handling I'm afraid. Fine for very simple stuff but not good quality at all. **Q: I can the dimensions of the width. What is the depth or thickness of the round discs? Thank you** A: Hi The Discs are about half a centimeter thick (5mm) hope this helps **Q: Can you wash and reuse them if you’ve painted or written on them?** A: I wouldn't have thought so, the ink/ paint would be absorbed into the wood. You could apply gesso then repaint, but you'd obviously lose the wood effect that way so I'd recommend using sandpaper to 'wipe' your surface clean. **Q: Which paint or ink do you use? I bought two sets of acrylic pens. The paint bleeds so design looks messy.** A: I also use acrylics, both normal paint and the pens. I do however sand them first, then I apply a layer of gesso. You can get clear but I use white. You can paint over these once dry.
