I bougth two of these. One arrived at my house in perfect condition wrapped in a plastic sheeting material inside of a cardboard sleeve. The other one was a gift and traveled farther across the US and arrived cracked. Maybe a thicker packaging would have helped. They are nice quality and nicely cut.

Works best but I noticed it flakes a bit when u move it around alot ,its great to have it on a stand

This was literally delivered 26 minutes ago and I just had to write a review. It came in a padded envelope and I got excited that it was quite a bit heavier than expected. It was packaged in a styro-foam type shell, but not the bad styrofoam, this stuff is paper. There's a little blurb about the item on the outer packaging, and it's wrapped in clingwrap.When I unwrapped it, there was a tiny sliver that had fallen off (not even close to what I was expecting) about the size of mechanical pencil lead. There was also a little bit of dust, but also that was expected.The piece I received is 7 3/4 inches but 1.5 inches wide. It was a great price, my local shop had it for a little bit more. I will definitely be ordering another soon!

Definitely not the size shown in the picture, it's much smaller.
