She is a huge Jane Austen fan as well as an author herself. She does lots of school visits so has to haul lots of her books and other things when she goes. She always complains that her bags aren't very good quality or are too small so I bought this for her to use.Very high quality material and the seams appear very sound. I'm a fanatic about quality so I checked it over very carefully to make sure it's not going to give out. The fabric and build quality are definitely up to making this your library bag and is big enough to carry a decent amount of things. Plus the appearance is just awesome. If you (or whoever you are buying this for) is a fan of cover art then this is a sure win. So I decided to get this navy one. I have another Out of Print tote bag (Jane Eyre) but this one is far superior to that other one in quality and size. I've used it daily since I bought it and it looks nearly new and I've not had to wash it.
