Specifically, the Ithaka crate not only feels sturdy, but can withstand bored young puppies going through their teething phase, airplane luggage check-ins, and multiple generations of puppies. Moreover, this series is really easy to disassemble and reassemble because of the side clamps and the two anchoring picks at the front - just be careful not to lose the two anchoring picks as they are necessary for holding the door in place.The reason I did not rate the Ithaka 7 with four stars is because of one minor flaw that could just be the random one I received or a flaw of the whole 7 series: the door cannot be switched to open from the left because the door runs into the lip of the crate; unfortunately, due to my specific crate flaw or the whole series design, one cannot even force it to close shut. Otherwise, the Ithaka 7 is a great crate. ### ⭐⭐ Less than satisfactory *by D***0 on September 1, 2017* Two of the clasp that holds the top and bottom together were defective. Two parts were missing. Did return the item and requested a refund rather than a replacement. Quality control may be lacking and I didn't want to take the chance of receiving another defective carrier. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ AMZN is great *by J***B on January 4, 2015* It's a beautiful crate and more spacious than the standard flight carrier. My dog had much less resistance going into it. Unfortunately, Cathay Pacific rejected it for the clamps (they require bolts and nuts fastener).
