I have to admit I was a bit discourage with the book at first because there were no interpretations for the cards but the more I read the book and got into the reads the more I realized I didn't need any interpretations. I realized I could do it my self very easily. All you have to do is Google a card and you will get dozens of good websites that give enough of an explanation to understand what the cards are telling you. I recommend going with sites that give base interpretation of the cards because it makes the read easier to understand. Many people now a days go overboard with an interpretation which in this case will just complicate things. Keep it simple and you will understand what the cards are trying to tell you. The other things good to have is a base knowledge of Astrology because it all ties in together. The reads I have done for my self and my husband make a lot of sense and some have proved to be very accurate others I can't say yet because they are concerned with the future. All in all I recommend this book for people who have been working with the tarot for some time and also have an understanding of Astrology. For those who don't have this experience and still want to get involved with reads like these I suggest learning the tarot, Astrology, and getting informed about past lives. A good tarot website that I like to use with these reads is [...] a good Astrology website I like to use for free charts is [...] and for great past life information I recommend Michael Newton books. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Interesting *by S***Y on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on August 23, 2012* I have always been interested in the topic of past-life, but I happen to be someone who is so resistant to getting regressed. So I was pleased to see a tarot book that was dealing with this topic.The sample readings for each of the spreads were very helpful, but I could use a bit more in depth explanations and interpretations on those too. Another thing that would have been helpful was a list of the spreads with short description of what each spread was for at the beginning of the book so that it's easier to go to the spread you are interested, depending on what aspect of past-life you want to find out. Yes, the descriptions were given in the appropriate chapter for each spread, but it would be much easier/quicker to locate which spread is the one you want to try out, if there was a list.There are about 18 spreads (using 3-28 cards, most are over 10+ cards) mentioned in this book, along with other means of getting past-life information (such as meditating with a tarot card or doing self-regression). I have only tried 4 spreads so far, the Invoking Pentacle Spread, Dark Moon Spread, Tree of Life Spread and the Big Picture Spread. And also planning on doing the Constellation Past-Life Wheel. The results from the 3 spreads were pretty amazing and consistent. The fourth one, I'm still working on the interpretation.
