Beautiful fan!
Big beautiful fan. My husband had a hell of a time getting it up there by himself because we have high ceilings! I ordered another one for my bedroom but they're not in stock poor guy he's going to have to do it again!

Doesn't move a ton of air, but it looks amazing
Read the negative reviews, and they'll all tell you that it doesn't move a TON of air. Most big fans do - this advertises the volume of air it moves, and it's not a lot - know that up front. The blades are relatively thin for the length. I will say that I've turned the fan up to high, and I thought it was plenty breezy, but I just wanted something stylish to help circulate the air more than anything - we have A/C, so cooling the room isn't my real intention. The fan is heavy, but installs just like any other. It DOES have separate wiring for two switches - one for the light, one for the fan on/off. It also comes with a remote. My one complaint about the remote is that the little bracket that is meant to attach it to the wall doesn't really hold it securely, so it moves around a bit when you're pushing buttons. It's clear the bracket was a bit of an afterthought. The blades are reversible and have either a medium dark wood look (what we chose) or a light grey-ish wood look. Seems like one of those two choices would work well in just about any space. The light is a built-in LED. A lot of reviews seem to complain that it's not very bright. I personally wasn't disappointed, but I do have the option of other overhead lights and lamps in the room, so maybe I'm not the best judge. The metal is described as "brushed nickel". I definitely disagree. If anything, it's satin nickel, but I'd say it's verging on polished. Not chrome, but quite shiny. Personally, it fits my tastes just fine, but if you specifically want brushed nickel, you'll likely be disappointed. The fan is super stylish, though. It can be installed right up at the ceiling or with the included short downrod as desired. With eight blades and a span of 62", it's BIG and makes a statement. For reference, our room is about 15'x15' and has 9' ceilings. We installed it to hug the ceiling. I almost didn't buy this as Honeywell recommends a room that's at least 20'x20' for a fan this size, but I think it's just right in our space. Maybe the ceiling height helps. Overall, I definitely recommend this.

Nice big fan!!!
I really like this fan. The install and wiring were fairly straight forward. I did the project by myself on a 9 foot ceiling. I used a 6' step ladder at the foot of our bed and laid a piece of plywood on top of the bed mattress for additional access. If you have a higher ceiling you should probably get an additional helper. We redid our house and needed a contemporary brushed nickel fan in our primary bedroom to go with the new decor. Our bedroom is a little larger than typical but not huge - 14 x 20. I imagined this 8 bladed fan would be impressive and that it is. It goes quite well with our room size. I was surprised that the air flow of the fan on low speed was very light. We run it on medium speed which produces air movement just slightly more than the replaced traditional Hunter fan produced on low speed. When you run it on high speed it does move a lot of air. It is totally silent on low, but makes a real low hum on the higher speeds. Not bad at all, but still audible. God price, good quality, lifetime motor warranty.Added later: I replaced the 3000k light module in this fan with a 5000k dimmable unit that cost less than$20. HUGE difference in light output. Highly recommended upgrade. Easy DIY project.

Would not buy these again
At first, I really liked these fans — we bought 2 for our house — because they were much better looking than our previous ones and they created much more air flow because they had both an additional blade and larger radius. However, they’ve become too finicky: one has worked much less than it hasn’t; the other one has degraded over time. We’ve reattached the electrical wiring on the finicky one a couple of times and it works for the briefest period, only to stop responding to the remote (both fan and light). The last time we did this we couldn’t get it back to running at all, so we bought a new controller module. I hope this fixes that one’s issues. The other fan was working, although the remote has been a bit erratic. Eventually the remote would not do anything, but because it was running, I was able to turn on/off with wall switch, as long as I wanted it on high. Now nothing works. We’ve swapped batteries on both remotes — no change. This is annoying not only because these fans are less than 2 yrs old, but also the effort it takes to reach them, requiring us to bring a 15’ ladder into the house and do this work at that height. The ones from Costco ate ugly but at least they work

Angled Ceiling Review - Zero Complaints
Saw a lot of so-so reviews for angled ceiling mount applications so wanted to clear the air. The instructions clearly indicate the stock bracket is only for 10-12 degree ceilings, which is pretty standard. If you have a sloped ceiling like mine(25 degrees) then you'll need to goto your local home improvement store and buy a sloped/angled ceiling fan bracket kit. I grabbed a commercial electric one from HD for about $30 and as you can see it did the job perfectly AND had a shelf in the top to put the remote module. Fan is mounted to a 15ft cathedral ceiling with a 25 degree slope. Used the aforementioned angle mount kit and a standard 36" downrod(3/4" diameter) also readily available at any home store. So moral of the story here is use the proper installation parts and you'll have zero issues, try to jerry rig it and you'll be adding to the misinformative reviews already on here.
