The pivoting head and the three pivoting blades make access to one's face/neck contours quite remarkable. Further, the razor is easily cleanable either fast cleaned (i.e., after one shave--dumping whiskers and blowing into the three blade bays) or detailed cleaned (e.g., using pressurized, canned air or hot water to blast out the whiskers from the blades, internal mechanisms, and blade bays). I've owned four Norelcos; this is the best by far. Its design and construction are well up to Norelco standards; I found no "cheapness" to the construction and build as noted by other reviewers (i.e., as compared with both Norelcos in this price range and Noreclos' outside competitors). No electric razor will shave as close as a blade but I really don't care. In terms of an acceptable shave and the convenience an electric offers, this one does a great job. If I have the time I will use it with shaving cream applied to my face and it feels really great. There is no skin irritation and you get a nice close shave.
