I have been using this chalk for a few months now at my local bouldering gym and it has performed admirably for me. It sticks to my fingers well, it provides excellent grip, and in the 300g bag, it is very cheap. I use a lot of chalk and I have probably only gone through 1/3 of the bag. I will note that this is a pretty chunky chalk, which I like, but some others may not prefer. My climbing buddy complains that this chalk isn't as soft as the chalk he uses. My response to that is that if you are performing an activity that involves grabbing and applying your full weight to hard, rough surfaces for an hour or two, how is the softness of the chalk even a concern? I just break the crumbles up with my fingers, which actually helps coat my fingers better, in my opinion, and I am good to go. I also think it is handy when I get a large chunk into my chalk bag, because I can just rub it gently between my fingers and chalk up without making my hands a sloppy, dusty mess. Basically, this stuff is chalk, and does exactly what chalk is meant to do in this context. I will probably buy this same product next time I need to refill.

This chalk is really good quality for bouldering. It feels soft and it makes your hands stick to the surface of rocks so much better, it functions exactly as you would expect it to. The bag size is great too because you can get a lot of uses out of the amount they give you. It’s not heavy and doesn’t leave your hands feeling weighted or sticky, easy to wash off i normally use sanitizer first then soap.

The chalk is semi chunky like it has small rocks, i prefer flour like chalk but this chalk is really good quality and durable

Great chalk for climbing and lifting. In the 300g bag, it's got both large chunks, and the broken down fine powder. The mouth is large enough for one hand, though maybe not two unless you have small hands so I'd say pour it in your chalk bucket instead if you like getting it on with two hands. A little pricier than I'm used to at $12, but I usually just buy the flashed 2oz blocks for $2-3 and break it up on my bag. I will say though, from the black diamond store itself, the 300g sells for $10.95, but an extra dollar for 2 day shipping is worth it to me. Comparing the two, Flashed for the value works great, and does the trick. Black Diamond though, does seem to leave a better layer on my hands, and actually feels a little stickier. Worth the price IMO, but since I'm cheap, I'll probably wind up mixing the two a bit for gym use.

I used this chalk when I first started climbing and then got cheap with Frank Endo 1lbs blocks and Metolius. I just recently switched back to the BD and man is it nice! Super soft, still a bit of chunks to fine tune consistency and make ticks with, and adheres to my dry hands much better than Franks! Also isn't as dusty so cuts down on particulate matter. I have also used Magdust and Unicorn Dust and still prefer BD. Especially for the price! Will definitely be switching back!

I use this chalk to climb in a gym multiple times a week and it works well and lasts a long time. It's a little grittier than I like, so if you like finer chalk this might not be for you! But if you like it a lil chunky this is perf. I got the biggest bag and it is taking forever to go through!

Feels great on every type of hold and comes in copious quantity. Cost-efficient, has some chunks but they're easy to crush.

La verdad que cumple muy bien con su función. El paquete es bastante grande y me da para mucho tiempo. En verano suelen sudarme bastante las manos pero aguanta bastante bien y se nota la adherencia a las barras de calistenia. Sin duda merece la pena. Lo único malo sería el cierre, pero si lo guardas en casa con una pinza es suficiente.

Good item with a good price. I use it for powerlifting mostly. Easy to clean from floor.

Bestes Chalk meiner Meinung nach. Ich neige normalerweise schnell zu schwitzigen Händen – beim Klettern echt nervig. Dieses Magnesium Chalk ist einfach top: es hält die Hände trocken, sorgt für richtig guten Grip. Macht dass Bouldern und Klettern viel angenehmer. Absolute Empfehlung!

I love this chalk. The best gym chalk I’ve found in Canada (and I’ve tried a bunch!). Kettlebell sport lifter - sticks to bell and hands well. Good texture to handle (not too smooth).

My package contained a very old chalk. Something is wrong with it as I used this brand before and it was totally different. Had to throw it away and odred a differen one.
